“Great play area”
Reviewed 19 February 2014

lovely place for babies and toddlers to play, Good coffee and cakes to.
this is a really nice pace to meet friends for a coffee. My nieces always have fun in the play area...and its always nice a warm even though its a church and the ceilings are high.

“A lovely tranquil place to dine!”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

I visited the Tower Cafe for lunch with 2 work colleagues. I had the Steak and Stilton Panini and a pot of Tea. Lovely setting in the church with a variety of different tables available. The panini arrived with a lovely salad and crisps on the side. It was excellent. Can't fault the service and it was a lovely place to eat so much so we ordered another pot of tea and some lovely scones with jam and clotted cream.

“Nice salad, but small portion”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

This café is in a church, with a few tables outside on the grass by the war memorial. My smoked chicken salad was tasty, but more side-salad than main course size, with only a few very small slices of smoked chicken. The pot of tea wasn't very generous either. With larger portion sizes it would have merited a higher rating.
