“Weekend of rugby,shots and Prosecco!!!”

This house is fantastic! Absolutely perfect for us group of middle aged professional drinkers! Right next to Brecon rugby club where Sharon was extremely welcoming! The house is huge and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Lovely welcome pack from our gracious hosts which we supplemented with plenty of alcohol so sorry about the excessive recycling! Minutes away from town and seconds from the canal this place is perfectly located. Would definitely recommend! Five star accommodation fair play! Artherchog! X

This is a fantastic house with plenty of space for a large group. We are only sad that we couldn't all stay longer.

“Great accommodation, friendly hosts, great stay”
Reviewed 2 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

My boyfriends mum booked this place for us all to stay in over Christmas and we had a great time. Apparently it used to be a B&B but is now rented (I think) as family self catering accommodation. It has a large and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, and so on. There are lots of pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, etc. and a few small tables that you can make into one large one.
There's also a big games room (with a tv, a Wii, a piano, and a pool table), a cupboard with games in, a large sitting room with sofas, chairs, large tv, and there's also a laundry room. The accommodation itself is 5-10 minutes away from a couple of supermarkets and also other shops and cafes in the heart of town. The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh is also down the road from here, and you're also right by the canal so you can enjoy nice walks along it. They're also pet friendly as my boyfriends sister brought her puppy along with them and that was no problem. Some of the rooms are a little small but the furnishings are nice and our room had a skylight and en suite bathroom which was lovely.
I would definitely recommend this place for a holiday or short stay and I hope to stay there again.

“Everything you would wish for”
Reviewed 19 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Stayed with family and friends for long weekend. Large spacious welcoming house. Bathroom or ensuite for everyone and comfortable chairs plentiful. Owner so helpful and left us lots of lovely goodies which was very kind. Comfortable beds, lovely area to sit out and heating if a bit chilly. Spotlessly clean and parking for four vehicles. Towels, bed linen, extra bedding all provided and nothing too much trouble for Mrs. Pritchard. Very many thanks for a lovely break and we will certainly be recommending to anyone with a large group to stay with you in Brecon.

We had a family weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday . Such a well equipped and comfortable place so close to all town and countryside amenities. Being close to the vibrant canal activity was great fun. Dragonfly canal cruises go from just over the road . The canalathon finished outside the theatre on Saturday and there was entertainment and a great atmosphere . slid is just around the corner but you could be out in the sticks and ignore the toe I'd things if you so wished. I can recommend it.

we had such a lovely family weekend at the canal house. House is just fantastic. So much space, spotless, fab location and everything we could need. Such a generous welcome pack too. Didnt hear any noise from rugby club. Aldis and morrisons and town centre close by. 2 mins for lovely canal walk. Perfect. Defo going back. 12 of us and plenty of room .
