Very welcoming. Have never had such a vast range of choice on a breakfast menu anywhere - first class! couldn't fault it - just divine with the variety & would be hard to find anywhere else. Plus excellent service.

Wonderful contemporary accommodation in an old building. Friendly service, good value

Room tip: If U like to leave the windows open during the night, ask for a room facing away from the street. Try out the nearby Bridge Cafe for dinner (bookings a must), food and service are superb. Otherwise try the Gurkha Restaurant (Nepalese Food) which is great

The Coach house is a little treasure in the Brecon Beacons, we stayed over for the Ester weekend and we couldn't pick a better location!
Breakfast is fresh and delicious and the rich choice between traditional welsh dishes is perfect before an outdoor day!
We found particularly good the rarebit, a cheese speciality from Wales.
The room and the whole house is very cozy and clean, it has a lovely back garden and it's really quiet during the night.

The general atmosphere is friendly and homely, Mark and Tony are great hosts, we received from them several suggestions for hikings, cycling routes and local restaurants.
We will definitely go back to the CoachHouse on our next holiday in Wales and we highly recommend it for everyone who wish to visit Brecon Beacons park and enjoy a friendly stay in the peaceful town of brecon!

...it would be the Coach House, Brecon. Marc & Tony are the perfect hosts and their welcoming, boutique B&B thoroughly deserves its 5 Star AA rating.

Situated a few hundred yards from the river and Brecon town centre, the Coach House offers the perfect base for either walking into Town or exploring the spectacular local countryside. Our party were in Brecon for a long weekend, as wedding guests. Each couple, who are frequent travellers, was absolutely delighted with their accommodation. Rooms were spotlessly clean, individually decorated and well equipped with comfortable beds; flat screen TV; tea/coffee facilities, ipodstations, alarm clock and fantastic en suite facilities complete with 'posh' toiletries.

The breakfasts - wow! The Coach House only has 7 Rooms but Tony offers visitors the choice of around 7/8 Breakfast combinations. As your breakfast is cooked fresh - and to order - you are requested to reserve a breakfast slot. Food is quality, locally sourced and beautifully presented. It sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. We also enjoyed evening drinks in the lounge before our nights out. In warmer weather (than early March) these can be taken in the garden area.

The Coach House has a decent sized car park to the rear of the building. There is also a sizeable, free car park nearby.

Marc & Tony were helpful with information on Brecon, its attractions, restaurants, hostelries and local taxis. They had the 'knack' of giving us ample breathing space - yet being available to share their local knowledge as/if available.

In summary, the Coach House is a fantastic advert for Wales. Quality, value for money accommodation with great breakfasts & welcoming hosts. We will return !

We really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and there is a very nice choice for breakfast.
The staff are friendly and very helpful with local info and hints on where to go.
We will definitely stay here in the future.
Its about a two minute walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. They have parking and also there is a car park a minute walk away.
