This beautiful waterfall can be visited on its own or as part of a series. You can climb behind the falls — a strange sensation! The kids will love this, especially if they put their heads under the sheet of freezing water (parents advised to hold on). The descent is steep and the climb back fairly tough but well work it.

Wonderful walk down to the falls but not for the faint hearted was told its an easy walk but not so need to be fit. Walking under Wales answer to Niagra was great. Only fault not very well signposted took a slight detour on way back to car got slightly lost, 1 hour walk took us 3hours so for those who want to do this walk please be prepared and its well worth a stroll

A series of spectacular waterfalls culminating in Swgd Eira which is beautiful but quite a steep descent/climb to get to. Once there you can walk on a ledge underneath the falls but be prepared to get wet! There is such a variety of scenery in this area, forests, mountains, moorland and steep rocky valleys, well worth a visit for a whole day.

Let's just say my boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed to me behind the Waterfall of Snow so oddly enough it is one of my favourite places in Wales!!!

One thing to note - there are a lot of steps to walk down so wear sensible walking boots and pack a picnic to refuel if needed!! But it is definitely worth it. We went in January after a lot of rainfall so got pretty soaked by the spray :-) but when we went years ago in August after a dry spell we stood behind the fall and barely got wet at all.

Hoping to return on our anniversary!!
