Visiting away fan. Great parking 2 mins walk from the stadium but got tripped up by stewards as turnstile 38 wasn't for away fans and not allowed to take plastic water bottles in. But once in very pleasant stadium and pre match stuff. Best thing the exit. Straight out of stadium, roads closed to traffic so out of the car park and on the road home by 5pm. Well done.

“Will never return for a concert”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

We visited the stadium for the recent kings of Leon concert and can honestly say we will never go to another concert there. It is a far cry from the Cardiff City stadium, millennium and the motor point. The standing people were treated like peasants. Considering these tickets cost the most the fact you missed most of the concert queuing for the toilet and bars was ridiculous. Why couldn't we use the general stadium toilets and bars was stupid. The bar prices were again poor with a 330ml lager £4 and a cheap bottle of wine £20. Don't know weather it was the liberty stadiums fault or the promoters but they have put a lot of people off returning. The audio was also quiet and poor quality.

“Should stick to Football and Rugby Matches.......”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

I was at this Concert too, and I agree 100% with the previous comment as well, in fact I would go even further than that, and say this Concert was a total shambles all round, and I have NEVER heard a Sound System SO bad from a headlining Band, it was totally unbearable at times, and other times I thought they were playing instrumentals, as I could NOT hear the vocals at ALL ( which is really a fantastic voice ) from Caleb Followill, and I really don't know exactly who was responsible for the mixing of the sound, but he or she should be ashamed of themselves today, so it wasn't just the support Bands that suffered, it was like it all the time on the night .....

As for the organistation of this event, well the Refreshments / Bar area's were totally rushed off their feet all night, and the queues were ridiculous, and loads of people just gave up trying to get served, and in fact quite a LOT of people left this event early. The Toilet facilities were a total disgrace all round too, I have never seen long queues of Females waiting to go into the Gents toilets, as they had nowhere else to go inside the Stadium, which must have been totally embarrasing for them. No stewards around to sort that one out, or to sort out the many scuffles that occured inside the Stadium either, as pointed out by the previous reviewer too. Overall this was probably the worst Concert I have ever been to, and I certainly won't be returning to the Liberty Stadium for another one, that's a certainty..........

“OK Concert Venue - Lots of lessons for stadium staff to learn before the next event”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Went to see Kings of Leon at the Liberty tonight - Great gig ... BUT ...

Sound quality for support bands (especially White Lies) was poor - a shame when the support bands were both great acts in their own right.

Toilet facilities totally inadequate - a five hour gig is different to a 90 minute match - Standing spectators (about 15,000) were expected to go out of the stadium and queue for one of about 80 porta-loos in the carpark .. Really ?

Crowd control on exit from the Stadium was also poor / non existent.

I also witnessed at least two quite violent fights in the crowd - The security staff were just not up to the task (or experienced enough to deal with what is a new type of event for Swansea).

Great Gig - But organisers need to learn lessons before they repeat the exercise.

“Nice stadium”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 January 2014

Came here for the football as an away fan recently and thought it was a great stadium. Good atmosphere and all the stewards/catering staff very friendly and helpful. I came in by train so it was a 20/25 minute walk each way but it's an easy walk and easy to find.
It's a shame there's no screens in the stadium for replays of goals etc but that's only a small thing.
Best thing is that they sell Welshcakes at the bars at half time - very welcome addition to the usual football food menu!!
