“what a find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 December 2013

I was passing the cafe and saw the sign for goat curry and just had to try it, only when I came home and saw the other reviews did I see i had a lucky find, yes the others are right the goat curry is one of the best curries I have tasted and the meat was so tender, I spoke to the owners wife and she said that it is cooked for hours so make it that tender. I will definately be back and next time I am going to try the chicken stew., Delicious thanks

“Goat!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 December 2013

Bridgend isn't the first town you'd associate with authentic Jamaican cuisine but this could easily change with Bauhaus... Their authentic dishes are exceptional - especially the goat curry! Friendly, tasty, cosy and cool - it ticks all the boxes

“Me back soon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2013

Wah Gwan!

Devon, Julie and their staff provide a warm, inviting atmosphere which is truly unique. We visit a couple of times a month and have always been offered a great welcome with food and drink that is fresh and very tasty. Having sampled paninis, stew chicken and the famous curried goat, we can honestly say that there is no where else in the area offering such delightful Jamaican fare. The care that is taken to serve up a proper Latte as opposed to a simple 'milky coffee' is much appreciated.

Visited today and both really enjoyed the curried goat served up with real style by the the two ladies 'keeping Devon in line' :) His fun personality and banter are fantastic and bring a smile with each visit.

Next time, we hope to try Devon's curried fish which he has asked us to order in advance; surely another winner.

Highly recommended to anyone interested in experiencing a taste of Jamaica as well as the delightful charms of an authentic Caribbean eatery! Devon even offers Patois coaching at no extra cost and it is a privilege to be part of his 'yard' :)

Me gone!
