Location, service, rooms all very good. Had pre booked disabled parking at the hotel only to be told on arrival that this cannot be done and parking is on a first come first served basis !!! This was frustrating due to supporting a client with learning disabilities on the overnight stay.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Although we don't normally take reservations in our car park (due to space), we do take into consideration anyone who has special requirements. I'm sorry this wasn't the case for you but next time you stay do let us know and I'm sure we will be much more hospitable.

Cheers
Alan

Nice hotel, perfect location as close to the train station and Cardiff Centre so no more was needed. Had the option to upgrade but it wasn't required as the room was adequate with a great bed and pillows. The only point I would make was the hair dryer didn't reach any mirrors but no big issue as I just took the freestanding one from the bathroom for use.

A very modern hotel. Well apportioned rooms, with free wi-fi and, being on the 9th floor, great views across Cardiff and beyond. However, with full length windows, beware if you suffer from vertigo!!

Hotel only has a small car park, but there is parking across the road at John Lewis.

Room Tip: Go for one of the rooms on a higher floor if you want great views

Thanks for the review. I do feel I should point out that, if you feel the views are great from the 9th floor, you should see them from the 21st! Come back and I'm sure if you let us know we'll arrange the top floor for you.

We enjoyed a corner room that was spacious, clean and up to date. The king size bed and fluffy pillows allowed us to have a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent in its offerings and the service was very good.

Both Cardiff came as quite a shock to my somewhat negative expecations. The hotel was fantastic but most of that credit boils down to a great staff. Tanya (hope I remembered that correctly!) on reception / check in, was fantastic. Incredibly helpful and accomodating to a somewhat complicated process of offering home hospitality to a family on the road. The rooms were great, the location is perfect, the views are probably the best in the city and the atmosphere is congenial.

Room Tip: High floors facing the city

What a lovely review and, I would agree, Cardiff is a pleasantly surprising city. I will pass on your comments to Tanya (yes, you got her name right) - she will be delighted. Hopefully we can keep on (pleasantly) surprising you in the future.

The location is very good for exploring central Cardiff. The staff are polite and service is efficient. Furniture in the rooms is a bit faded but comfortable. While not the highest quality, it isn't 5 star, its a Radisson blu so you get good quality at a reasonable price.

You make some good points, hopefully you will be back again soon and get a chance to see some of the new furniture we are currently upgrading the rooms with (we all think It's making a big difference to the feel of the room but do feel free to let us know).

Nice hotel close to the train and bus stations, good breakfast paid at the hotel £10 per person, many restaurants and bars nearby, as well as plenty of shopping options. Hotel is close to the Millennium Stadium ideal for sports fans. Friendly staff nothing was to much trouble. At check in we were given a room which was designed for disabled access which we didn't mind, however I would advise not to take the room unless you require that type of accommodation due to the fact that the bathroom was designed as a wet room and the facilities were at a reduced height level not ideal if you have back problems. Take a room on the upper floors for views of the city.

Room Tip: Higher floors have views however the lift takes a long time to arrive on occasions
