The Big pro for this site was it was central and as we had bikes we could cycle or walk to were we wanted to go.

The Downside were. (1) it does not have a motor home disposal point. (2) Not enough hard stands it was extremy muddy whilst we were there. (3) lack of security as people could just walk on and through the site. (4) It did not appear that wardens checked site. (4) the water quantity in showers was very poor.

Stayed here for a couple of nights to accommodate a husband on a stag night! Very open site with no hedges between vans but met lots of very friendly people. Not much information given out by the reception staff and there was no internet access. The site had been very wet recently so the ground was churned up a little but I can imagine it was awful when it was raining. The shower block and toilets are very clean and very warm! with a hairdryer which is a bonus for nights out. A great cafe is on site which is run as a charity to support and encourage pedal power for for able and disabled cyclists. Cardiff has to be one of the best places I have seen to encourage cycling, lots of cycle paths around in parks and roads, and the Taff Trail on the doorstep. Fantastic cyclist full breakfast filled the stomach for the stag do, and coffee and poached eggs on toast settled it the next day! The site is on the Taff river which is a lovely 20 minute walk into Cardiff via the park which has another very nice coffee shop with great apple tart. It is situated right next to the Glamorgan cricket club and then a short walk to the Millennium Stadium. Cardiff has everything you would ever need including some really great independent shops and some very nice eateries! Will definitely use this site again - and may even take in some cricket!

The place is clean and friendl staff, there is a restaurant sich has awesome vegan / vegetarian food plus the service was amazing. the camping is in the city which makes everything easier and more fun.

The showers/toilets were clean, so was the kitchen and laundry area. I was quiet dissapointed with the mud in the tent area, wich made difficult to put our tent up. The pitches have energy but make sure that you have a special cable to connect your things (the plug in / energy connectors are different there), so make sure you ask. They also rent / sale bicycles wich is fun, they do not have any tv room, which honestly I do not care for, so it´s fine. you do not need to spend money in public transportation due everything is close to the down town area 8 minutes walk app. Besides that, a good place to be with the family, and es I will be back again!
