Stayed here with my family for 3 nights in total and were very happy with everything about the hotel. Staff were very helpfull and friendly and room was very nice with a great view over the city. Great location only 2 mins walk and you are in the center of everything. Next time we are in Cardiff it will be our first choice of hotel.

We stayed for two nights whilst England and Wales rugby game was on. We found the staff really kind and friendly. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cardiff so we were able to leave our car and just walk. The car park is a subsidised NCP. There are plenty of food outlets, a cinema and a very big shopping centre nearby.
The glazing is good and we were not disturbed by noise. The air conditioning meant that the four of us were comfortable in one room.
The breakfast was very good. We have beento several Premier Inns
We would stay again if we visit Cardiff.

We stayed here just for 1 night, as we were seeing Lostprophets at the Cardiff Solus.
Really lovely hotel, spacious room & nice bar area.
Also a great location, just a short walk to the centre with all the shops etc. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

Just one tip - all the car parks in the vicinity are very expensive....about £25 for 24hrs. But we had a drive round the corner & found some parking spaces down the side streets which were free from 6pm until 8am, then 10hrs is £3.50 (maximum charge)....so instead of paying 25quid, we paid £3.50!

Just back from a 5-day break. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the station. First impression is that you are walking away from the city centre. Don't be deceived! If you exit the door and turn left, cross a the lights the follow the road you are at the entrance to the massive St Davids shopping centre. Walk right up the centre and hey presto you are close to the Castle and lots and lots of other shops. But be warned, take LOTS of cash/plastic!
The hotel itself is spotless.Breakfast is wonderful (Continental if youre on a diet or a cheapskate, and full price is cooked and continental.) We had 2 evening meals, taking the meal deal for £11.99 for 2 courses. Choice and quality very good.
We had a couple of minor issues - our room passkey kept breaking down on the first day but it seemed to sort it self out. The light in our bathroom didnt work. I reported it to the reception and it was fixed literally in 2 minutes. One day we had no bath towels left. Again fixed in 2 minutes. The staff are really friendly and a great help in finding our way to shops etc.

Room Tip: Book a breakfast, you'll not get better value

I stayed here for 4 nights with my mum whilst on holiday in Cardiff for her birthday. The twin room was a standard double room with a single sofabed which was already made up. I slept on this and found it to be comfortable enough - nice duvets!

The room was of a good size and was well-presented. Whilst generally clean, housekeeping was not always up to scratch though e.g. tea and coffee supplies tended not to be replenished, though these items were also available from reception. Reception is constantly staffed, but check-in is via the self-check-in machines, but that was all pretty self-explanatory.

We had breakfast there once. It was pretty good and fairly reasonably priced by hotel standards, but there were other options nearby, plus a Sainsbury's around the corner for supplies.

The location was by far the highlight of this stay - so convenient to get around via bus, train and on foot. Regular buses to the bay go from just behind the premier inn, and we used Cardiff Queen St station also which is a 2 minute walk. The high street were just a couple of minutes walk too, as was the St David's shopping centre. Thoroughly recommend the Thai restaurant a little further down Churchill Way also!

We (two adults and two children, aged 4 &6) stayed in this hotel for one night on route to another location. The hotel is new and very clean and modern. It is ideally located just off the main shopping street in Cardiff and about a 10 min walk from Cardiff Castle. The rooms was spacious with a lare double bed, a single sofa bed and a camp bed. There was a small TV with a good few channels. The only downside was the fact that there is no parking - there is an arrangement with an open air car park just across the road so to speak, but you do need to add this to the cost of the accomodation. Also, there should be more clear directions given to the car park, as it would be handier to have them in advance rather than having to arrive at the hotel to find out - you can call them for directions and park there before you check in - as when you leave you get an additional ticket to insert in the machine to pay for your parking when you leave, so there is no special access card needed etc. Overall we had a good experience of the hotel, which is above average for a budget hotel given the fact that it is new and also is right in the city centre. There was a good mix pf people there when we stayed from young, old, families and hen paries. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was no issue with noise.
