Fantastic stay, no problems whatsoever..felt we were all well looked after and the staff were friendly. The bar was a little pricey but it is close by to a lot of local bars and clubs and the main shopping street in Cardiff. Prime location and one of the best night's sleep i've had in Cardiff.

Stayed over a weekend and found this to be a really clean and good value for money hotel. It is located in Central Cardiff really close to pubs, restaurants and shopping.

The difference between this hotel were how friendly and helpful the staff are. The rooms are clean, spacious for a budget hotel and nicely decorated.

The breakfast requires particular mention as it is good quality and really good value.

Definitely recommended and would stay here again.

With hindsight, I was really surprised to get a £42/night deal on the hotel as (unknown to me) there was a rugby international that weekend. I've stopped here a couple of times before, and this is becoming my favourite hotel whenever in Cardiff. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the check-in is via a computer terminal in the lobby , but this is straightforward and the reception staff are on hand to help. The bedrooms are more spacious and airy than the usual Premier inn, and are air conditioned; the building is a recently converted high rise block and the bedrooms on the upper floors have a spectacular view over Cardiff Bay. The hotel itself is well located in the city centre, with pubs, clubs and copious shopping short walk away, Queens St station ( for a shuttle train to the Bay) is a two minute walk, and Cardiff Central ( main line to London) is 15 minutes away. Breakfast is the standard all you can eat buffet, served in the ground floor restaurant - the layout of the buffet ( in a corner) is not ideal , as it can get somewhat congested with kids running around, however the quality is to the usual high standard. All in all, this is my first choice hotel when stopping in Cardiff

Stayed here for 2 nights at £40per night and for value this cannot be beaten. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk of Queen St station and has the usual good quality, comfortable and clean rooms
