Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre Hotel

All very good, as expected of Premier Inn.

Parking is directly opposite and costs £11 for 24 hours.

Located right next the Cardiff high street so there's lots nearby.

Rooms are (as with all Premier Inns) clean, tidy and have everything that you'll need.

Restaurant on-site is fine - breakfast was very good.

I would stay here again and would recommend.

PI provided a clean roomy environment close to where I wanted to be. WiFi is free only for 30 minutes. Not the cheapest, but you often get what you pay for. Good breakfast offer and staff were v helpful.

Having travelled to Cardiff from Glasgow in the overnight sleeper we hoped to be able to leave our bags until the 2pm check in time. Alex was happy to take our bags and also went out of his way to give us early access to our room. This was very much appreciated. Thank you

I spent 1 night here whilst on business. Check was good, my room on the third floor spacious, clean, with a good bathroom. The bed was comfortable. It had everything I needed for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really good much better than at previous premier inns. I would like to commend all the staff at the hotel for their top notch customer service skills, probably some of the best I have encountered in recent times - well done to all concerned. I would definitely stay here again.

Modern Premier Inns are probably the best 'budget' option around. They are clean, comfortable, well sound insulated, and I know from a colleagues experience that they genuinely refund with regard to their good night guarantee, although I've never needed it. Cardiff was no different and the reception team were helpful and quick. One star lost because the postcode option we were given got us lost, and this is a problem known to staff...get this changed/updated head office!

This hotel was booked as a stop over location so was chosen as it was located close to the city centre. Booked well in advance so the cost was very reasonable. Room was comfortable and clean. Check in process was self service and so lacked a personal touch and any info needed for the stay (e.g. dinner / breakfast options), there was a receptionist but she was speaking with other guests and when she had finished we were almost complete with checking in so she didn't speak with us. Parking though for here is awful, there is none within the hotel and only the NCP across the street which is city centre costly and means if you want to use your car during your stay this will be costly, whilst having no issues when we stayed the car park isn't secure and is "at your own risk". They do offer a discount to park there all day/night but the facility could (will) be a deal breaker next time when selecting a hotel in this area. The Thyme restaurant located within though is excellent, dinner and breakfast were great and the staff both in the evening and morning were fantastic, even if we don't stay here again we would use the restaurant.
