“Uncomfortable bed”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Friendly reception staff, but the mattress was so hard could have slept on the carpet and been more comfortable Also, only one bedside table for the double bed. Bathroom clean and good shower. Great view from tenth floor.

My daughter and I stayed on a Friday night during our Dr Who pilgrimage to Cardiff ( and who knew ... It's only the Adipose Industries building) a swift and friendly check in from Alex at reception. The room was made up from a double to a twin within 5 minutes of my phone call. Knowledgable and friendly staff made our nights stay a delight. Quiet and comfortable - we would highly recommend !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and went that extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay in Cardiff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again soon

The hotel is new so all the fixtures and fittings are new. The rooms are very clean and equipped with the usual standard premier inn equipment.
The bed was one of Premier Inns new beds, which seem to be a memory foam type. Unfortunately I really didn't like it and got little sleep.
The staff were all good as was the food, we had breakfast and evening meal.
The real downside is that the hotel has no car park. I was told by the staff to use the NCP car park, which at its nearest point is approx 150 m away from the hotel across two very busy roads. The car park itself appears to be on waste ground and is mainly full of contractors vans. Being disabled the situation and state of the car park spoilt the stay.it was very difficult for my powered scooter to cross the rough car park.... Definitely not good for disabled or pushchairs !

Just come back from a 1 night break at this hotel. We chose the meal option which included a 2 course dinner with a free drink and full cooked breakfast for £22.99 each. What fantastic value for money. All in all our stay cost in total just over £100!!! We had a room on the 2nd floor which was spotlessly clean, roomy with tea and coffee, hairdryer and lovely crisp linen and huge fluffy towels. The service and staff was second to none and we really enjoyed our stay
It's perfect for the motorpoint arena (few minutes walk away) and the new St David's centre
There is a lovely pub restaurant across the road called The Chapel which is a beautifully renovated chapel but the lager prices at £4.85 a pint of San Miguel is extortionate! ! Bar prices at the premier inn are more realistic ao we choose to stay there instead. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel for a show or shopping trip.

Great two-night stay. Only complaint is getting through the one-way system to get to the hotel, but that's not Premier Inn's fault! Also car park, at £11 a night, is a bit steep. However, staff were friendly right from arrival. Breakfast was superb and so good value since under-16s eat free and breakfast staff were friendly and courteous. Considering the hotel is so central, there is no noise filters through to the rooms, thought I was on the 5th floor!

All very good, as expected of Premier Inn.

Parking is directly opposite and costs £11 for 24 hours.

Located right next the Cardiff high street so there's lots nearby.

Rooms are (as with all Premier Inns) clean, tidy and have everything that you'll need.

Restaurant on-site is fine - breakfast was very good.

I would stay here again and would recommend.
