I am not one for history or old buildings. I just get dragged round them by my wife who loves them.
This however was one of the better and more reasonable ones. Fairly priced, good coffee shop with a reasonable selection, value for money gift shop,
Things to do outdoors, things to do indoors and plenty of knowledgeable guides to answer any questions you might have. The history varies from Cromwell through to a war museum.
The only down side was the amount of children on guided tours. But while the old fogey in me frowned a bit at this they seemed to be having a great time. It’s nice to see them learn about their heritage
