Charming old Victorian house with large, light and well appointed rooms. The staff was most accommodating in arranging taxi service for us and served us breakfast our last morning about an hour earlier than their schedule called for. An excellent place indeed.

Recently spent 3 nights at Lincoln House. This was our first visit to Cardiff - my partner got tickets to The Ashes. I selected this hotel over any other because it ticked all the boxes AND it was literally just round the corner from the SWALEC Stadium!! Three pubs within yards of the hotel served great food and a lovely 15 minute leisurly walk through the park will get you to the Castle and City Centre. But it was our room which surprised me most. We opted for a Standard Double and it was superior to most of the 4-star hotels we've stayed in worldwide! It was fairly big for a hotel room, pristinely clean and tastefully decorated. If I had to mention a negative, it would only be the size of the shower cubicle, but other than that, you cannot fault it. There is also free Internet and parking. The staff are brilliant! A special thanks to Lynn who greeted us on arrival and bent over backwards to ensure our stay was comfortable. Breakfast abundant, excellent location, helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again next time we're in Cardiff.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. Conveniently located next to the park and 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre, this beautiful Victorian house is an excellent base whether you are on leisure or on business. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and the owners and staff always available to help.
We definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I recently visited Cardiff for our anual convention and stayed at the Lincoln House Hotel because it had been recomended by a friend who had stayed there previously and returns there anually. We enjoyed our stay and found the service to be of a high standard and hope to return next year.

We chose the Lincoln House on the strength of positive and recent reviews on this website and we were'nt disapointed. An elegant old townhouse, near the city (a nice walk through nearby Bute Park takes you right into the town centre), it had everything the exhausted rugby supporter could wish for and even the host - bless him - was very cordial the next morning after our team had beaten his!
Lovely en suite rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Both myself and my husband have back problems so the right type of mattress is particularly important to us. Great choice of breakfast including Welshcakes. If you are visiting Cardiff I would highly reccomend it.

Upon arriving at this beautiful hotel, we were served strong Welsh tea & traditional cakes which totally re-energized us after our long flight to the UK & 3 hour bus ride to Cardiff! The Lincoln House is a perfect combination of personalized attention provided by a small hotel and the totally professional service of a larger one. We enjoyed the helpful staff, spotless rooms, computer amenities, and wonderful breakfast so nicely prepared & served to us. It was a great opportunity to sample more traditional Welsh foods and our son who is at Cardiff University for the semester was very happy to join us for the excellent breakfast. The University housing is a 10 minute walk through the park which is easily accessed through the back door of the Lincoln House on Cathedral Road. It was the best location for our visit.
