I'm sorry to give this a poor review especially as the service was good and the staff were cheerful and helpful. However, the content of the food is not what is described on the menu. I visited recently for lunch before a show in the Millennium Centre. I ordered spinach, mushroom & gruyere crepes with a green salad. The salad had red onion in and the crepes were absolutely swimming in a cream and butter sauce. I can't eat either cream or butter and I therefore did not enjoy my meal. Since when are red onions green? In fairness the restaurant immediately changed the salad (by putting a green bean instead!) but I didn't mention the crepes as I would have had to wait for a completely fresh meal and I didn't have time. I just therefore scraped off the top of the crepes and as much of the filling as had not been soaked in the sauce. If you want French, try Cafe Rouge a bit further down on Mermaid Quay where the menu gives accurate descriptions of the food served. Alternatively, Cote Brasserie please include things such as sauces and other additions on your menu descriptions.
