Lovely food, absolutely beautifully presented (everything looked just like it does in the pictures on Wagamama's website!).
We all had a main and a side. One of our sides was a fairly small portion, although we didn't comment on it. A few minutes later a waitress delivered a second portion of the side saying that the head chief had not been happy with the portion size and so had told them to do a second portion, which was a very pleasant surprise!
The mains were a great size, and all tasted really nice. One or two of our group absolutely loathe coriander, which is in a lot of the Wagamama main dishes, but they were happy to keep this out upon request.
The coconut ice cream and passion fruit cheesecake were also delicious.
As for the restaurant itself, it's very clean and done out in a lovely minimalist style.
Our only complaint was the main waitress who happened to serve us, who was very intimidating and somewhat rude, especially to her staff, which we thought was unprofessional. We actually had no complaints of her fellow staff, who were all very approachable and clearly trying their best, which made her attitude towards them even more off-putting.
None of us had had Japenese food before this visit, but we were all impressed by the experience and will definitely be back again.
