“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 3 August 2013 via mobile

The church is fantastic but do yourself a favour. There are loads of named coffee shops in Cardiff that will charge a fortune, but don't go there. Have a coffee in the church garden. Why? 3 good reasons. 1. It very tasty and al fresco is the best coffee place in Cardiff. 2. All funds from the gorgeous, vast array of home made cakes plus freshly made teas and coffees, served in china or mugs, go to the restoration of the fabulous church. 3. The price. Cakes start at 50 pence. Sandwiches £1.60. Teas & coffee, 70 pence. So, its staff by volunteers, not for profits, tastier and subtantially cheaper than famous high street coffee chains, and very scenic.

“Beautiful Church”
Reviewed 19 January 2013

A beautiful church inside, I have lived in the city all my life and this is the first time I have ever been inside. You would never know you were the city centre once you walked in. Well worth a visit.

“Cardiff's oldest church”
Reviewed 5 October 2012

The church is said to be the oldest building in central cardiff. Bits of the castle are older but that's a very small proportion of the building.

It is an oasis of calm in the busy city centre. It is well known for the skill of their bell ringers who practice on Thursday nights and ring before the Sunday service.

The tea room is open six days of the week for a cheap snack and hot drink.
