A really nice hotel the rooms were really clean and comfortable. The staff were all really polite and helpful. We had breakfast for the three days we were there and it was great!
One day we had an evening meal, not sure I would have it again. The lounge area is really relaxing. It is right near the park and ride which was good.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and found it pleasant and suitable for our purposes. It was by no means a luxury or fancy hotel but we were after cheap and cheerful so this was fine for us.

The only complaint I would have is the cleaning, on our first night we found an empty curry container at the food of the bed, which leads us to believe that the room wasn't vacuumed or cleaned properly since the last occupants

We actually ended up staying here on the first night of our honeymoon, by accident, as our car broke down near Cardiff at 10 pm! The AA man towed us here so we could get the car fixed the next day. We'd been planning to get to a romantic little cottage we had booked...

Have to say, although it was not at all what we had planned (and oh how my heart sank when the car broke down and we realised that we would be staying in a chain hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff) but it was actually really nice. We didn't tell anyone on reception that we were on honeymoon, but we had such a good experience anyhow. The room was large, clean, modern and nicely designed. Breakfast was tasty.

The whole evening could have gone so horribly wrong, especially since we were expecting such a different start to our honeymoon, but all in all I was really impressed. I thought it was all really reasonably priced for a nice room and good service. It overcame all of my prejudices about chain hotels like this and I would definitely stay at a Premier Inn again. Plus, it does make a good story... :-)

I stayed for one night, having booked a meal deal and table online.

Because of traffic, I arrived five minutes ahead of my table booking, ready to check-in! Check-in was completed well, although I was told that the earliest restaurant booking was at 9.30pm, until I reminded reception that I had booked a table with my hotel reservation.

My room was comfortable and, in spite of being in full view of the busy A48M, was very quiet (being triple glazed). The room was spotlessly clean, and was well equipped for a mid-price hotel (my bill including meal deal came to £83).

I ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and enjoyed both meals. However, the service at dinner was very poor. It took over 20 minutes before my order had been taken, and it was over an hour between sitting down at the table and receiving any food or drink. To be fair, the service then speeded up, and I was offered a drink on the house to compensate for the wait, without having complained.

The hotel was easy to find, being clearly visible from the A48M, and was handy for the North side of Cardiff. The City Centre, too, would have been easy to reach. The A48 is the main East to West thoroughfare through the City, so all parts of the city can be easily reached by car from one junction or another along its length!

This was our first stay at a Premier Inn & having paid their special rate of £29/night, we weren't expecting too much. However, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious, especially when compared to most budget hotels, & spotlessly clean. Bed was extremely confortable & the soundproofing very effective.
The hotel is pretty close to the M4 & is about 4 miles from Carfiff city centre. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes about 30 minutes & costs £3 per day - found this much easier than driving into the city.
Will definitely be staying at Premier Inns in future if they're all as good as this.

Hotel was very clean, after reading the reviews I did spend some wasted time looking for bad things but managed to come up with nothing (thankfully). Excellent value for money as was the breakfast (eat all you can for £7.95 with children under 15 eat free) which was delicious every morning. Waiting and bar staff were brilliant as were the reception staff, one of which phoned her father to find out the number bus we needed as he was a bus driver!! Best member of staff award has to go to Clare who my 7 year old son fell in love with after he complained that I hadnt packed his hair gel and she produced her own for him, She checked on us every day to make sure we were ok and enjoying ourselves. On the last morning she asked my boys if they had had a lovely holiday both answered yes, then she asked if they mum and dad has spoilt them, to which they answered yes, and then asked if they would like hot chocolate for breakfast and sped of to make this for them, nothing was too much trouble for her or any other member of the friendly staff at this hotel and cannot wait to go back to see them, and stay in this wonderful hotel. We did go to the harvester for a meal on the first night and after sending my second meal back we did not go again so I would not recommend this restaurant.
