Worth a stroll for an hour or so amoung the civi buildings, museum and parks in the centre of Cardiff. A quiet haven away from nthe busy shopping area and an opportunity to take in some culture too.

This formal park in the middle of Cardiff's municipal centre, surrounded by The Museum, Crown Court, University of Wales and the Welsh Government buildings, never fails to delight the visitor at any time of the year. It has a particular poignancy today, the anniversary of the surrender of the Argentine forces in Port Stanley, some 30 years ago. Go and delight yourself in the flowers, shrubs and trees that grow so well in this small but beautifully formed oasis of calm.
