Blink and you would miss this place as you travel thought taffs well as it's not obvious that there is a restaurant at the location. First impressions weren't great as the car park isn't great but once we entered the restaurant we were very impressed.

Food quality was exceptional - one of the finest currys we have had for some time. Staff extremely friendly and in particular the manager who made time to have a chat as we were leaving. Will definitely be returning!

These were the words of my friend last night when he ordered the above dish. That is high praise as my friend is a fussy eater. All my other friends really enjoyed their food to. Only slight negative was one of the naans was a bit burnt. I'd thoroughly recommend this Indian restaurant.

Eaten in and taken away. Both great. Only downside is the car park. Not the best when it's raining but well worth the hassle. Enjoy!

We had an early evening meal at the Spice Connoisseur recently and really enjoyed the food and service.
The restaurant has an intimate feel to it. The tables have traditional table clothes on them just like in the good old days.
The food was excellent. We had the Fish Tikka to start followed by Chicken Tikka and Prawn Madras with boiled rice. The Chicken Tikka was really generous and was brought to the table sizzling in a Skillet. The Prawn Madras was one of the best I've tasted with a really nice kick to it.
At the end of the meal we were brought hot towels again like an old traditional Indian Restaurant.
The only slight negative was customers smoking near the entrance, the smoke drifts inside.
The Spice Connoisseur is really close to the Showcase Cinema so is ideal for a meal before your film.
