Owner description: We’re so much more than a theatre. Our visitors enjoy blockbuster West End musicals, opera, ballet and contemporary dance, hip hop and stand up comedy, art exhibitions, workshops, training days, free daily foyer performances, guided tours, bars and restaurants... there is something for everyone.

We booked online for a backstage tour in advance. When we arrived at the theatre we were told that they were not doing tours currently but would honour our booking so there were only 4 of us for the tour. We thought we may get a reduced tour but Robin our guide was excellent throughout and gave us the 'full experience' lasting 1.5h. We got an insight into all the design features of the theatre as well as seeing backstage, including a rehersal. The theatre itself is impressive and was 'brought to life' by Robins' enthusiasm. Overall an excellent visit and tour.

Excellent fun show, enjoyed by us all. Some unexpected "pantomime" humour for a musical. Staff at theatre as always very helpful.

The modern building is imposing inside and out. Views of the stage are excellent wherever you sit in the main auditorium and the accoustics are excellent.
Within the building there are various places to eat and two or three interesting shops.
Members of staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Even if you are unable to see a production( which are varied and of a high standard), this building is well worth a visit and usually there is something going on- a free concert or, this time, a Roald Dahl exhibition.

This was my partners first visit to a musical and we were both impressed. Great quality production, in a very well laid out theatre. I have visited the theatre many times over the years and have seen tens of musicals and operas and I am never disappointed. The parking in association with the nearby multi storey car park is well worth £3.60 for 11 hours- I recommend this if you are driving as it is very close, reasonably priced and the car park has ample parking. We are looking forward to the next production!

Recently watched a show here which was amazing but the ladies toilets were grotesque to put it mildly. The sanitary bins were overflowing and I tried 4 cubicles. Very sad to see this in such a fantastic venue.
