I had been here before and been reasonably satisfied with the food and service so I went for an early lunch with my girlfriend. As we entered we greeted the 2 ladies behind the counter and went downstairs where there are tables with menus on them. We were the only ones there. Nobody came down to enquire about our order so I went back up. We both chose the Lunch Deal 1 from the menu which gives a limited choice of crepe and an drink for £5.00, eating in. I was surprised when asked for £13.10 so I asked how that was calculated. It appears that the downstairs menus are completely out of date so I paid up. When we left the menus were still there so other customers could also be misled.

Popped in her whilst wandering around the many little arcades in Cardiff. I knew they took Tastecard without needing to book so we gave it a go.
We fancied something savoury having just enjoyed a sugar overdose via an afternoon tea at the Angel Hotel.
I had the spicy chicken with onion and creme fraiche (have forgotten its name), my husband had the tex mex one with beef. Both were really good. Very fresh, tasty and a good size too. Good value anyway, but with a Tastecard you couldn't go wrong. £6.50 for 2 crepes and a can of coke.
We chose to eat in- downstairs. A really quaint and quirky room with art on the walls for sale. What spoiled it was the terrible rap music playing in the background - it just didn't fit with the feel of the place. Some chilled out jazz or other layed back tunes would have been more suitable and fitting.

My wife and I thought we would try this creperie using the 2for1 Tastecard. At a glance it looked small with just a few tables but discovered there was a more than adequate seating downstairs , The choice on the menu is very varied and with choice of crepe, Panini etc. sweet or savoury prices between about £4.60 to £5 + . We chose two different savoury crepes which we share between us. Both were delicious and surprisingly filling. Service was friendly and informative. In future we will probably try two from the variety of sweets on offer.
