What a little taste of heaven, from the adorable layout to the delicate tasty food and drink on offer this place ticks all the boxes.. The owners and staff can't do enough for you... Shop local guys these business women would give any major chain a run for their money.. And to receive such tasty treats with service with a smile, I'm definitely a regular now. Keep up the good work girls x

A lovely cafe. Welcoming staff and beautifully styled inside. My only criticism is that it is overpriced. Whilst the tea was served in Sophie Conran crockery and the toast on welsh slate, £6.50 is too expensive for these basics.

It's a shame because it really is a lovely place, but it's put me off going back and trying anything else.

We used to go to the spa before it moved on Kimberley road and noticed one day that it had changed to "Penylan Pantry" so decided to pop in. The Pantry offers a selection of organic and gluten free supplies for your cupboard but also a fab array of scotch eggs, cheeses and deli luxuries. The cakes were all homemade and A feast to the eyes. We stayed and ate there, scrummy smoked salmon and cream cheese on toast and a mug of proper hot chocolate (made by hot milk and a block of chocolate you stir in to dissolve). My partner had scotch egg with the best piccalilli he has ever had! The atmosphere and service was very friendly and perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. All in all a great find!! We will be back very soon!

A friendly little place with a good selection of quality products, from popcorn to tea, cheeses & meats, as well as the odd bit of fresh veg.
As it's very close to where we live my wife goes here regularly for a coffee and a pastry/cake with friends, taking our baby daughter who is welcomed. They have beautiful Portuguese custard tarts delivered fresh every day from a bakery in Cardiff and they are delicious.
Whilst it's not the cheapest place, it is a lovely place to stop in for a snack and a coffee, or stock up on some goodies to take home. It's quite small & often busy on weekends so getting a seat may be the biggest problem.
A great addition to the Penylan community.
