Once you get past the rundown shop front and tired interior, this restaurant is a real find! The food is delicious and comes it very large portions! I had the ribs with house sauce and they tasted incredible. Everyone loved their meals and was totally stuffed after two courses. Service was friendly and we particularly loved the guy, possibly the owner, who was from Cornwall! Beware; he will offer you tequila that actually has a long dead snake in! We survived!

I decided to go to this Mexican as a change. I ordered takeaway quesadilla and lobster tails!!! Whilst waiting for the food the kitchen staff we openly swearing dropped pots and plates and constantly using the microwave
hardly authentic .
After 40 mins of waiting I received the food ewwww wish I never. The lobster tails were dried up scampi the quesadilla was nothing at all like a quesadilla it was like cheese in a tray. I had one mouthful and nearly threw up. I was then up all night being sick. How this place got a 2 star rating is beyond me. Avoid at all cost .

We visited with friends who already like the place.
It has an authentic feel which is deliberate although some reviews seem to criticise the style.
It is what it is, but you get wonderful mexican food and tons if it.
If you dont want a sombrero and original Mexican dishes then its not for you.
There are only a few proper mexican restaurants and this is one of them.
Have a chimichanga.
You just have to go more than once.

Excellent food, Excellent Staff and Excellent Service.
By far, one of the best mexican joints i've been to.
Instead of the typical commercial restaurants, this place features the touch of homely, cozy feeling.
The owner is an excellent man, who makes sure everyone is having a good time.

Must trys - All of the things in the menu. and for drinks, they have some real stuff..
Snake Tequila, Worm Tequila and different other types.

Prices - much reasonable than the commercial ones.
Portion size - Large... Beware if you order a few too many starters, you might not be able to finish your mains.

A good basic restaurant the decor and crockery could do with a little updating but other tan this its great.
The food is of the home cooked variety, which is no bad thing, the portions are not stingy and the bill at the end of the evening is very reasonable.
Never had a bad meal here,
I also had my 40th birthday here ( a long time ago now) in a good party atmosphere.
I will eat here again sometime soon.
