Set on the outskirts of Cardiff we decided to stay at the ' Gwaelod inn' after going to the rugby. It's just on the outskirts and a short taxi journey away from Cardiff (£16) rooms were lovely, service was good and always with a smile. We ate in the evening and breakfast and it was all good. The gwaelod is a lovely place and would definitely recommend to friends.

Stopped here for lunch before going to the Wales v SA rugby match, what a great experience, steak and ale pie, lashing of gravy, veg and the biggest bowl of chips, lambs liver mash and gravy just like mum use to make plus 2 glasses of homemade brew. What a way to go and watch rugby. Still full on the way home at 8pm. Could not ask for anything else.
