We arrived for an early evening meal in this delightful pub. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was very tasty. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

The six of us met up and decided a walk over the Garth was in order for the morning, having already booked a table at the Gwaelod inn for lunch around 1pm. We did a nine miler and ended up at the Inn together with my daughter's dog who was on his hols., with me for the week....!!
Excellent venue, wide choice off food and superb real ale beers as well. We ate in the dog friendly bar. There is a restaurant upstairs for those appropriately dressed and not in walking gear...attentive staff and the dog even had his water.....though I had to ask.

I went with friends for an evening meal on a friday night. When we entered the pub it was very busy and cosy downstairs at the bar. The restaurant was upstairs and we were shown to a table. Unfortunately the room was pretty cold and i couldn't take my jacket off the whole time i was there. However, that is the only niggle i had.

The food was delicious and well priced. My friend pretty much asked for a completely different dish to anything that was on the menu and another friend took a fancy to a starter which she asked to have made into a main meal. Both requests were done and we all loved our food. The steak was cooked to perfection and the fish and chips was phenomenal!

The young waiters and waitress' that served us were among some of the most polite and helpful i've come across. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped the Gwaleod y Garth to stand out!!!

There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub and ive already booked to go back.

Babs the owner, always has a welcome for you and so have her staff. They are all very attentive and know how to serve their customers. In addition the food is of an excellent quality and good value for money. I love their Hake in a caper butter sauce...it's my favourite!

Book early as it gets really full.

Went for sunday lunch, quick service, nice cut of lamb. £13 for sunday lunch though was over the top. Why the basket of bread with your meal? A nice enough meal but not worth the money i'm afraid.
