Went for lunch on Friday. First time since new management . What a fantastic meal !!!!We had a table of 7 and all were impressed with the meal they had ordered. The presentation was top class, the taste was exceptional and the quality was incredible value for money ! 2 of our guests were obviously impressed as they booked Sunday lunch! And another guest mentioned "how difficult it would be to beat those fish and chips " pub classics were on the menu, but I chose off the specials board , Hake on a bed of samphire !!! Delicious ! Well. Done chef and well done manager ! Will definitely be returning soon.

Gorgeous 3 course Sunday lunch! Most tender roast beef and all the trimmings! Lush homemade Bakewell Tart with custard or icecream. We had heard the food was good but it was far better than expected especially for a local pub. Great value and pleasant service, highly recommend! Will be back to try it one evening next time!

Visited today for Sunday lunch and it was beautiful. Amazing value for money, lots of interesting choices.

I opted for the smoked salmon and prawn starter which was perfect. Followed by the roast beef. The beef was falling apart tender. Good choice of veg and the most enormous Yorkshire pudding.....but the gravy ....well....it was stunning.

Best Sunday lunch out I have ever had. Only negative was I had no room for dessert!!

Highly recommended!!

Being local to the Ruperra this review may seem slightly bias but having seen the place go through 3 owners prior to the current ones, I have to say that the Ruperra is the best it had been for years. The menu has all the regular pub favourites as well as a great specials board which changes a few times a week. The food is well presented and wholesome. The Sunday roast is the best you will get aside from your mums of course. We have never been big on eating out but have made good use of this little delight on our doorstep. Yes it can get busy at times and you may have to wait more that 10 mins for your food and to the lady who complained about the local drinkers standing at the bar, well yes it is a bar and please don't forget that although the Ruperra serves restaurant quality food, it is actually a pub. A pub that is well supported by its locals for great food, a wide choice if beers and wines and a clean, happy, cosy friendly atmosphere. Well done to all involved in the running of the Rupe!
