Parking failry difficult to find on arrival, and rooms a bit tired. Mine was overlooking the main street but didn't really disturb. Hotel was very quiet during my stay - a couple of restaurants in the place but found myself eating on my own in a lounge area, peaceful but hardly an atmosphere. Hotel gym was adequate albeit a little crowded. Sauna and pool also used (no steam room or hot tub). Breakfast very good.

Had spa treatment here on Saturday October 19th. The best part of it was the beauty therapist!! What an Asset to the hotel. The service from the barman up in the lounge area was, on the other hand, shocking!!! Forgot our soup and salad order not once, but twice!! Then covered one of my friends in milk, then left her to clean it up for herself! No apology whatsoever!!! Only thing that would make us go back would be the beauty therapist. What a lovely sweet girl.

Good clean average hotel, it is a 4 star but I have stayed in better.

Very central, so if your staying in the city for a night out this is the perfect place.

The Spa was lovely.

The room was very clean but very small, especially for the price we had paid for it.

Would stay again if the price was right.

Room Tip: the double rooms are small

I have stopped in many hotels in the last few years but none with such cheerful and helpful staff as the Dragon in Swansea.
Spending time away from home on business can be a lonely situation so to have people who have a pleasant attitude and completely enjoy their work makes a pleasant change.
Location ideal for the centre of Swansea. Rooms comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and a brilliant breakfast, what more could you ask for. Go to the Dragon Swansea.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we alway try to make the hotel a home away from home and it's very pleasing when we succeed.

This hotel, whilst centrally located could really do with a little tlc. The rooms are adequate for an overnight stay, as are the public areas. The bar seemed very empty and without any ambience. Owing to the position and architecture of the building this hotel could be so much more. It does have a pool and a gym, however these areas could do with modernising. Upon walking in to the leisure area I felt as if I was stepping on to the set of the Brittas Empire! :-)

Maybe like most guests would say, Its a nice central hotel, cheap £89 double room, I pressed them for an upgrade, and by being nice they did. Very quiet midweek, can be a little noisy on football days. You probably wont get in anyway unless booked well in advanced. Clean rooms, excellent bathroom, polite staff. The only downside is don't eat in the restaurant, the food is over priced and dreadful. Sorry chef, I know how proud you can be, but I gave it many returns to the same menu and just did not enjoy. Breakfast room was a place to visit just for coffee alone, and maybe that's how you should leave it. I know breakfast is considered the worst shift in any kitchen, but leave some of the oil in the fryer.
Would i go back, yes yes and yes. Great hotel and location, in the very heart of Swansea city center. No problems with parking. As Swansea used to be my home town, I would encourage you to venture out for some of the warmest people you could find. With that in mind, forget Wind Street, unless you want disco, clubs till 5 am. For the old people, try The Queens Hotel, a total old word place but the welcome will make you stay. Grape and Olive for the views, just don't eat. Get on a bus and visit the Gower, you will then see why Wales is called Gods country.

Room Tip: Get the upgrade or pay for it.

A long drive, but hotel easy to find, and on site parking easy as well. So far, clean, polite staff, and reasonable rooms. Looks better on the inside than on the outside, looks like a retail part of the city
