I enjoyed a short stay in this little B&B at the edge of the hills. It was a bit hard to find the place and impossible to find parking. And driving around the block is an ordeal in orienteering as well. On my third lap I finally abandoned the car half-way around and lugged my luggage (now I know why they call it that) back up to the hotel. Which was good practice for the stairs (no lift).
Once there, though, the stay was very pleasant. The proprietor insisted on carrying my bag up the stairs, and gave a friendly and complete review of restaurants in the immediate area. He also helped me figure out where I needed to go to drop my rental car so I would not have to keep worrying about parking.
The room was fine, though not very conveniently laid out. The wifi was free, but the shared bandwidth was problematic. Skye calls were frequently dropped or lagged, and even routine internet browsing was often slow. The bathroom was poorly laid out and had nowhere to place my shaving kit and other small things.
The breakfast was made to order and delicious. The service throughout was pleasant and prompt. I would probably stay here again if I come back to Swansea, but I really do hope they do something about the wireless.More
