We've just had our second visit to brynawell farm, lovely warm welcome and home from home comfort. Snooze on leather sofas by the fire wether you have two legs or four! If you are very lucky Christine may be baking Welsh cakes yum!Highly recommended by Tim, Liz and Burt( the dog)

The hospitality shown to us was the most genuine I have come across. Christine's warmth is infectious and she happily sat for a natter over a cup of tea while the wind and rain caused havoc outside. Here we found a homely, relaxed atmosphere with amazing service and the welsh cakes on arrival are a personal, thoughtful touch. Our breakfast was of epic proportions but it was just so hard to say no to the delicious delights on offer. A truly amazing B&B with attentive hosts.

We found Brynawel Farm by looking for dog friendly accommodation via the internet. It turned out, they were also mother-in-law friendly as we had my 93yr old mother with us. We stayed 10 days and left as friends. Christine and Martin are an amazing couple. They go out of their way to accommodate everyone. Breakfast was excellent, especially the duck eggs.
On our last day, we packed and loaded up the car and I took our dog for her last walk. I had an accident whilst out and Martin insisted on taking us to the hospital immediately, without hesitation. It was quite a long way. He waited in A&E until they finished with me and then took us back. In the meantime, Christine looked after my mother, supplying her with tea and cake and after our dog after she had cleaned her up. It definitely turned out to be a rich experience and more than just accommodation. If we can, we'll be back. In the meantime, we wish Christine and Martin continued happiness and success.

Room Tip: All rooms seem good!

We stayed here on our trip to Wales. Beautiful property, great views, comfortable and clean, and friendly hosts Christine and Martin. Even though we arrived during a sad time for the family with one of their beloved dogs having passed away, Martin got us settled with a cup of tea and some Welsh cakes and showed us to our beautiful room. It was so nice and quiet there after the hustle and bustle of London! Christine was very helpful with recommendations of places to go to in and around the area and as well the breakfasts were delicious. Would definitely recommend this b&b!

My first stay at Brynawel, beautiful location, warm welcome, offered a cup of tea even after a late arrival. Clean comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast, tried the duck egg and it was delicious. I will stay there again if I'm in the area.

A beautiful old farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with stunning views. Hard to believe it is only 10 minutes from the M4 motorway. Rooms immaculate, beds super comfortable and the best Welsh breakfasts in the world. The propreioters, Christine & Malcolm are so friendly and helpful we soon felt at home. Great to find somewhere at last that our dog is safe and enjoys as much as we do. We gave 5 stars because could not possible to give higher to a fantastic bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: The double rooms and family rooms were perfect so no need to worry about choosing.

The guesthouse is well appointed - it's an original farmhouse building with up to date furnishings so it has a lovely homely feel to it with lots of space but isn't old or dated, everything works just fine! It is set in a very peaceful countryside area, and the couple who run it couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. My wife and I stayed here for one night the week before last when we visited my family in Swansea. We had a 4 hour drive after work to get there and didn't arrive til around half 11 but Martin came out, opened the gate for us and helped us in with our bags, he was so kind. Clean and spacious room, big bathroom with power shower and really comfy bed. The breakfast was perfectly cooked with really high standard ingredients - lovely thick cut bacon and big sausages from the local butcher, choice of eggs between chicken or duck (much larger !), and Christine was really attentive. They are both great at making you feel at home. The dining table is set just before the doors opening out onto the garden which is beautiful - lovely view whilst having breakfast if you are sat facing the garden. You can walk around or sit out in the garden, there's a lake with different types of fish, you can go and see the hens and ducks that the eggs come from if you like! The farmhouse is on top of a hill overlooking the valleys and the village below so very quiet with great views. We are visiting family again pretty soon so will be coming back here for sure :)
