Wow! The chapel is such a beautiful place. There's so much to do and see nearby it's a 5* all round! 10 of us stayed for the weekend but it felt do spacious, plenty of room! Really felt like a home from home, had everything we needed and more. Would 100% recommend and would love to return.

“Chapel girls weekend”
Reviewed 8 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Absolutely perfection love this beautiful Chapel our second visit to the Chapel and we are all booked up again for 2017. 10 of us friends chill out for. A lovely get together . Local pubs fabulous food recommend The George and The New Tredegar Pub. Local shops and post office great for getting your food you need etc. Lovely places to visit but most importantly this Chapel is such a warming relaxing place to stay and Marnie the owener is only a phone call text away if you need her.

Ideal for big parties families etc beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms home from home. Oh and a lovely river running by which is great to listen to whilst you have a cuppa on the veranda.

Highly recommended we all love it there full star rating from us

“Lovely place, perfect for large families”
Reviewed 7 November 2016 for a stay in May 2016

10 of us stayed here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and it was lovely. The accommodation is lovely and big, plenty of room for all of us. It was lovely and clean and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, plenty of crockery and cutlery etc for everyone.
Marnie answered any questions leading up to the stay quickly and was happy to give recommendations of places to eat, we went to the pub up the road for Sunday Roast and it was lovely, definitely recommend.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone as it is perfect for large groups and also very reasonably priced.
Many thanks Marnie

“Beautiful renovation in a wonderful location”
Reviewed 7 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Stayed here for my partners parents wedding anniversary with extended family. We filled all the beds and there was plenty of space for all. A really beautiful place to stay and we only wish we had more than one weekend to enjoy it. Perfectly situated to explore Swansea, the Gower, the Brecon's and even across to Pembrokeshire should you want! Marnie was fantastically helpful and made us feel very welcome even with the short notice booking. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the South Wales area.

“Well equipped large converted chapel - highly recommended”
Reviewed 30 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I booked this converted chapel nearly a year ago for a group of orienteers to attend a week long orienteering event 'Croeso 2016'. Our group comprised two couples and three individuals, one individual was only staying for 3 nights and we had a flying visit from another friend who stayed for one night - they used the twin room.

I know I can speak for everyone when I say we had a fabulous week. The chapel has a lovely large lounge with plenty of sofas. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped - we never ran out of mugs or wine glasses (and there were even some shot glasses in the cupboard). The long dining table was perfect, there was a separate beer fridge/freezer although the kitchen fridge/freezer was huge too. Also the wifi was fantastic!

The two kettles and two teapots were a brilliant idea, breakfast bar and stools were great and we spent some while sitting outside on the verandah in the early evenings (when it wasn't raining). There were bench seats out in the garden so we could have eaten outside had we wanted to.

The hot water pressure was fine even with so many of us arriving back at the same time wanting showers and the washing machine going on. There was even a tap outside to wash dirty orienteering shoes off.

The way the bedroom/bathrooms divided was very good. The master bedroom had an ensuite with a lovely big shower. The two upstairs bedrooms shared a good sized bathroom with a bath with a shower over and the two downstairs bedrooms shared the downstairs wet room. There was no queueing for the bathrooms even as a group of sports people we were showering both before and after competing.

A number of minor issues arose during the week that did not impact on our stay at all but Marnie arranged for them to be resolved very quickly.

The location was good, a short drive from both an Asda and a large Tesco's and the post office next door was useful for morning papers and odds and ends.

We ate out twice at the George Pub up the road. One evening we had a good meal (mainly spare ribs) but the next time we went there were issues. Booking would be a good idea as the night we didn't book we ended up eating outside.

There was parking for three cars at the rear and one car at the front but there was also a lay-by opposite where cars could park.

I would recommend this Chapel to anyone for a group holiday - we had a fabulous time. Even though the weather was not great for the whole time we were in Wales we still enjoyed ourselves.

Hi there and thank you very much for such positive feedback. It seems we could learn lots more about the local area from you. We are very glad you had a lovely break and that the chapel was spacious enough for all of you, as well as the two dogs. With regards to the frying pans, we are sorry we missed the original one's disappearance as we hate to inconvenience visitors at the chapel. Thank you for the 'heads up', we would very much welcome you back. Thank you for looking after it so well. Take care and kind regards, Yonni and Marnie
