Went with six friends on a fri evening. I was the only one who had been before. Everybody was so impressed as they could only remember the Bar Reef of old when it was a bit run down. The place is now very impressive .The owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful. They deserve to do well. The food was perfection and reasonably priced.. Cant reccommend it enough. All of us wont hesitate to go back. I eat out a lot in Swansea and I would say that Bar Reef is my favourite place .

We had an excellent 3 course Sunday lunch here everything was home made cooked to perfection and beautifully presented and only about £20 per head with drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive and the live jazz pianist really gave the place a lovely atmosphere we could have Stayed all day. Looking forward to our next visit all ready a hidden gem I'n Swansea.

Went for lunch . No one else dining . It was freezing ! We both kept our coats on. Wish I had had gloves. Ordered the goulash . Which was nice but it was so cold with hard wooden chairs , we couldn't wait to get back to the car to warm up! Nice food but not an inviting atmosphere

me and 8 other went for sunday dinner and i would be going back again.
When they first seat you they give you the menu and complimentary bread rolls (tiny but made their and then so fresh)

the waiting time for the starter was a bit long and i didnt like any of the choices but from the other 8 people who went 6 went for the muscle, all of them rated them highly and the other 2 had pate that was rated very high

then came the main course it was amazing (the only problem i got less meat than everyone else) everything was fresh and hot and you can tell it has not been microwaved

then i had a bread and butter pudding with chocolate chips the taste was amazing and the toffee ice cream was to die for

also another good thing is you get 10% for been a student i will be definitely visiting in the week
