We have to agree with all that's been said re this hotel. It's also a easy 15min walk to some very nice restaurants around the Water Front and a very lively little bar, It's 20min to the city center and very easy to get a taxi back or walk. The hotel is in a good spot to suit any age group but being of the older age group, we found that the Water Front was really good for us as the main area's were too loud!! There is also a very large Leisure Center L2 just 20mins walk towards the City, ideal if you have children or just fancy a swim.

Stayed in this hotel for one night, and it was better then I expected!
Bit out of the way of the centre but was only about £5 in a taxi from the hotel.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything in there that we needed. The beds are really comfy too, had a good nights sleep!
The breakfast in the morning was better then I expected too! Lovely full English breakfast and choice of yogurts, fruit and croissants etc.

I arrived late, after struggling to find this place in the dark. The reception staff were helpful and patient during my phone calls for more directions.

There is free parking with lots of spaces and a pleasant reception area, with a pool table.

My room was great - a reasonable size, white cotton duvet, TV, sofa (a bit shabby and not that comfy) and a desk. The curtains were nice and thick and blocked out some of the inevitable traffic noise that arises from being next to a main road.

Initially there was a bit of corridor noise too, with people clattering around, but that soon settled and I had a very good night's sleep.

The bathroom looked amazing, with stanless steel sink set amid green glass, plus a walk-in shower. Also, no noisy fan system. It did steam up when I had a shower but seemed to disappear quite quickly, although I helped it along by propping the door open.

There was a good choice for breakfast. Fresh orange juice always a plus. Not enough low fat yoghurts (I appreciate this is not the priority for many people!) but there were plenty of business people tucking into hearty looking bacon, eggs etc.

The place was clean and the staff were good and helpful. This is a chain hotel but a good quality one. Definitely recommended.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a reasonably priced basic place to stay near Swansea. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. Free parking too, and there's a 24hr McDonalds Drive Thru next door. This was handy for us as we arrived really late in the evening and wanted to grab a quick bite- everywhere else was shut.
The hotel has a bar that's open till 11pm, and a restaurant- I can't comment on these as we didn't use either, however the breakfast smelled pretty good!

Downsides are that it's not very central to Swansea, and as it's located off a dual carriageway, our room at the back did get pretty noisy. If you're a light sleeper maybe ask for a room at the front.

My wife a I stayed at the hotel from the 19-22 July. The room was good and always cleaned, with a new supply of tea, coffee etc every day. The staff were polite and we thought that the hotel was value for money. On the down side, we were in room 121 at the side overlooking the main road. (Traffic noise). But we will be going back again
