“Visiting Over The Holiday Period”
Reviewed 30 December 2013

I have visited this Hotel on several occations and found it to be a great place to stay for visiting Swansea. This time it was up to its very high standard and a most enjoyable experience. The staff where great and the breakfast was up to a high standard. The hotel is in the right place for visiting the centre of Swansea.
Car Parking was next door and very easy to find. A bargin priced hotel.

Stayed here when Newcastle played Swansea and the hotel is in an ideal location for the nightlife, shame we managed to get barred out of all the pubs on Wind Street but thats another story. The rooms were spacious and clean, an absolute bargain at £35.00 for a night between two people. The staff were helpful and friendly, would not hesitate to stop again or use Premier inn for that matter.

Premier Inn have really turned themselves into a first class outfit. This Swansea centre hotel is at the bottom of busy Wind Street with its chain restaurants and bars and it may be a different (and noisier) proposition at weekends. But my mid-week stay was really impressive - and with their frequent bargain prices it was astonishing value. A spotless room, friendly reception, and a very attractive breakfast/dining room and bar. Thanks to the heavy rain (a notable feature of this south Welsh city!) I decided to dine there and had a perfectly palatable meal and a reasonable selection of inexpensive wines.

Room Tip: Try and get a room not facing the main road and on the 3rd Floor.

Stayed here for for the works night out. I only live in Swansea, but taxi back is nearly as much as the hotel so hotel makes sence. Good standard of rooms, city centre, easy access, overall a great place to stay if you are on a budget - we do it every year.

My brother and I travelled down to Swansea with a few other friends to celebrate a birthday. We had two Premiership rugby games to watch on Friday and Saturday. We arrived back at the Premier Inn on Friday night after watching the Ospreys game. We had already checked in at tea time and so had our key cards with us. We were aggressively confronted by a chap from behind the front desk who asked us our names and our room number. We told him our names and room number 330 and also that we had our key cards with us. He checked his book and told us that the room was booked in a different name and refused us entry. We suggested the name of the chap who booked the trip but were still refused entry. We asked him what else we could do to gain entry. He replied to me personally that if we didn't leave he would forcibly restrain me and within seconds I was pinned to the floor unable to move and in some pain. The police were called and very soon my brother and I found ourselves on the street at 1am in the freezing cold with nowhere to stay. I wonder whether this situation could have been handled in a different way.
