Visited for the first time, there are a lots of interesting exhibitions on different themes. I agree that the set up is a bit higgledy piggledy and difficult to know what to see and in what order. There is lots of interaction with every exhibition some of the screen were close together, but all in all a very enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed a couple of hours here on a Sunday on the first bank holiday weekend of May.

Lots of interesting and hands on exhibits, good views of the marina. Light, airy and well thought out.

Brilliant little vintage fair on while we were there, and it seems there are often similar events on.

Will definitely visit again.

The Name of the Museum implies it's about water or something like that. It's more about things that were made or invented in Wales, which we found very interesting. We really enjoyed the interactive areas of the Museum, which my 9 year old really enjoyed so did the Hubby! As it's Easter they had a little Easter egg hunt for the little ones which we really enjoyed as well. The staff were really pleasant and friendly. We also got £2.00 off our parking! On the negative side of things it's not set out in a manner which flows, so sometimes your not sure which bits you have seen.

Found refuge in this museum on a very wet day in Swansea. An interesting concept but ultimately it fails to delivers, as it attempts to tackle too many topics and I found that in many cases it was more style than substance. Although that is not to say there weren’t aspects that I really liked. Where it worked, it worked well. One highlight for me was the interactive displays which brought Swansea, as described by the 1851 Census, to life with the rich and poor living in adjoining streets. More of that please. Another highlight was the Sinclair C5, and it is not until you get into one do you realise how impractical and dangerous this thing was, and it was nice to have a Victorian “equivalent” positioned only a few feet away. I know which one I would take out on the road.
