After experiencing food at Patti Raj, Rose Indienne, Zaika and Vojon, this review for Mirchi is not over the top or exaggerating; the place really is unbelievable.

The menu itself sets the diner apart from any other Indian restaurant in Swansea. The menu gives you the opportunity to experience a world of flavour. The staff provide recommendations to suite your appetite at the time. There was such a variety of food on offer I couldn't decide! The layout and ambiance of the diner was relaxing and sleek. As you would expect from a restaurant, polite and well-mannered staff. The were more than average here! If it wasn't for Mirchi having a closing time we would of stayed all night! The staff presence gave a friendly, vibrant, warm welcome.

The chutneys and poppadoms set the standard for the rest of the evening. The blends of herbs and sauces left you anxious to get to the main meal. The chicken tikka starter was the best I've tasted from any restaurant. Having been to the most popular in Swansea this diner is in a league of its own. The food itself was delivered faster than expected and presented extremely well.

The Tandoori mixed grill was huge! The sheer quality of the food and presentation is quite startling. To say we 'enjoyed' the food would be an insult. You really can't compare this food to the local restaurants nearby, it is far too classy oozing quality from the moment you take your seat.

To top the night off the staff give us a free box of chocolates for Valentine's day, as I said, extremely classy!

We will 100% return to this diner without hesitation. It looks different, feels different and without doubt, tastes different. If you enjoy and admire Indian cuisine, then this place is right for you.

This place deserves to be thriving. Arrange a night for yourself and friends as soon as you can and you will not be disappointed!

Stumbled across this place by accident when driving down St. Helens Road. So glad we did as it was one of the best curries we had in a long time. Plenty to chose from on the menu and at a reasonable price. Will definitely return! Thoroughly recommended. Friendly staff and a nice warm atmosphere!

Just discovered this place - it's only been open a month and was quiet when we visited so more people need to know about it. The menu includes all your regular Indian restaurant favourites but also has plenty of dishes you won't find anywhere else in Swansea, including lots of really interesting vegetarian main courses. The mission, according to the menu, is to include lots of traditional dishes of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Highlights of our meal included crab Malabar - fresh crab in a beautifully rounded, sweet/spicy sauce and mouvli paneer - slices of paneer in a rich, medium-spiced sauce. Apparently this is a speciality of Nondifor, where the chef is from. The tarka dal is the best we've tasted and the chicken cafreal, topped with lots of fresh veg, also went down a treat. I'd say this is the best Indian restaurant in Swansea - it's great whether you're looking for a fresh take on your favourite dish or for something less familiar.
