“Worth every penny!”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

A lovely spot in mumbles with brilliant atmosphere and service. Food is always beautifully cooked and served promptly. Really impressive menu and specials, with something for everyone. All ingredients obviously fresh and prepared with love. My favourite restaurant in Swansea. Will always recommend.

“Disgusting”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

We have been coming here for about 10 years and can't believe how downhill this place has gone. My wife's scallops were of questionable quality and the main course was below average. The combination of flavours was questionable and not one you would think from a 'good' restaurant

The service was also very poor. no one asked us how or meal was and we were ushered out without a chance to comment on the averageness of our meal. We waited 40 minutes from when we clearer our plates to when we asked for our bill.

What a shame this restaurant has turned into a poor establishment

“Friendly Little Spot”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

Three of us called without a reservation on Easter Monday for lunch. Offered two or three tables in the small but neat restaurant. As we were short of time we went straight to the main course of Duck Breast, pan fried in a ginger, chilly and soy sauce. Really delicious! My daughter had the Field Mushrooms with Pate and herbs as a main rather than starter which was ok. Coffee was good but no espresso available. All in all, pretty good with an excellent duck. We will try again when we have more time.

“Beautiful food, excellent service!”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

I've visited P.A's on several occasions over a number of years and have never been disappointed by them. There are only a handful of restaurants in Wales that for me, have the 'X factor'.

A cliché I know, but the food they prepare has been made carefully and with so much love. I think their dishes quite easily match a Michelin starred restaurant in the fairly local area that I frequent.

Their size is their only let down, you really should book for dinner because of their popularity. Possibly, a refurbishment wouldn't hurt either but these are trifles really.

Due to the fact that nothing is really prepared by a cook but by a proper chef, waiting times for food tend to be a little longer. However, that is usually forgiven when you realise how fresh your food is. They normally use veg from their own garden!!!

Finally, they cater for all food intolerances and allergies that I'm aware of, including my pesky dairy intolerance.

“Excellent in every way”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

We went to PA's on Wednesday evening and were not disappointed. Excellence from the moment we walked in. The waitresses were superb and worked as a team all evening. Quiet and unobtrusive attention. The meal was outstanding, the best monkfish and king prawns that we have ever eaten. Chocolate Torte to share (!) was chocolate heaven. Thank you all very much. We only wish that you were a short walk from us. You were recommended by Langland B and B just round the corner, so we will be back.
