not a bad place, good location friendly staff, good bar and restaurant on premises. Only downside is the charges for wifi, although you do get free 30 minutes, but I needed longer. Rooms were basic nice big shower was a big welcome after putting up with the small one's in Italy

I would have liked to have given a 3 1/2 stars for this hotel but considering it was a budget chain hotel, the pros outweighs the cons.
Pros: Only £60 a night (booking one month in advance). Clean rooms that were a decent size. Hair dryer in the room (bonus for us girls with limited luggage space). Good lighting in the rooms. Nice breakfast (for the price we paid). Staff generally helpful and friendly
Cons: Double bed was too hard and possibly too small for 2 tall adults! Bathroom smelt a bit after you had a shower (may need more ventilation). When we asked for dinner recommendations we weren't actually given any. Just pointed towards a part of town that had chain restaurants. Being a budget hotel, the clientelle could get rowdy as there were large groups (hen dos, birthday celebrations - which is why I was there!) so I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic break.

Overall it was a pleasant experience given that it was a budget hotel. I called a day before we arrived to request a quiet room (ie. one not facing the street) and this definitely paid off as our room (number 309) was very quiet at night. Which is great because when we were walking home at 2am it was quite loud and rowdy in the street the hotel was on. Mind you, if your room is next to a rowdy group then the street noise is irrelevant I guess :-)

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor facing inside (not the street)

stayed recently at the premier inn for a short 4 night stay, and must say it was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. when checking in the staff were very helpful and pleasant we were even allowed in early as our room was ready, didn't expect this as any other hotel we have stayed in don't usually let you in early so a very much plus point to them. the town centre is almost on the doorstep but still a very quiet street and no bother with noise even with many bars nearby. in all a very happy stay and when we are next in belfast we will certainly return to this hotel.

The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the main town centre, in an area with plenty of bars. I called the hotel a few days before arrival to request a quiet room and was given room 309. This room was away from the streets and we did not hear any noise at all.
The hotel does not have a car park, but there are a lot of parking meters within 1 to 5 minutes walk from the hotel. They operate from 8am to 6pm and cost 30p for 15 minutes. There are also a couple of car parks close by too, but i had no problem finding meters on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
The Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. I would certainly stay here again.
Please note that the air condition temperature in the rooms in controlled by Reception. The controls on my room wall did not work at all. Please also note that the hotel is within a one way traffic system and my sat nav tried to take me the wrong way up a one way street a couple of times.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room a few days before your trip as there are lots of bars in the area and there may...

I stayed at this hotel during a weekend away with my Mum. The staff were very friendly and helpful - right from our check in, where we were told we were being given a free room upgrade. The room, a double double, was really big, clean and more than we would have expected to get for the price we paid...a brilliant surprise! The breakfast was fine - we just went for the continental option on one morning of our stay. Overall I'd say that the friendliness of the staff give this Premier Inn the atmosphere of a far smaller, more expensive hotel...and that's its biggest plus point.

Housekeeping doors were across the hall from us. Beginning at 6 am this door slammed about every five minutes. I am a sound sleeper and each night I awoke to hearing drunks shouting and laughing loudly about 2 am. I was told that the halls were patrolled but they must have forgotten about the third floor. If you want quietness during your stay, this is NOT the place to stay!

Room Tip: Avoid the room across from housekeeping unless you want to hear their door slam all morning

We've stayed here numerous times over the past couple of years. Very clean & tidy rooms. Spacious & practical.

The welcome from the Receptionists is always lovely & all relevant info is provided. Couldnt help but feel the welcome is slightly scripted though (which isnt a mark-down as such, as it ensures everyone is greeted well).

We've eaten in the hotel restaurant which has always been lovely. Decent but basic food - reasonably priced too!

Hotel is very well situated & close by to everything you need / want to do & see in Belfast.

One warning though - Do not use the bar! Bar staff very unwelcoming. Had the misfortune of being served by several customer service-lacking barpersons, on more than one of our stays :-(
