“Great hotel for sightseeing”

As is usual with Premier Inn you get what Lennie advertises - nice room, comfy bed, friendly service and a good breakfast. We arrived before official check-in time and as the hotel had been fully booked the previous night there wasn't a room available, but the receptionist went out of her way to get one sorted as quickly as possible.
This hotel is ideally situated for discovering the city and I would definitely recommend it. As I would Belfast - a great place!

We had stayed at the Premier Inn Tower Bridge London over the summer with our 2 children and were very pleased. We booked Belfast for 1 night to take our children on a short trip. The hotel was clean and staff friendly but we were disappointed by 2 aspects. Firstly our family room was not available when we arrived to check in at approx. 5pm. Our children (6 and 8) were tired from a day out and we would have liked to have chilled in our room before going out for dinner. We were simply told that the hotel had been busy and that housekeeping had not got around to reconfiguring the room as a family room. Apparently there were 2 or 3 other families in the same position who had tried to check in just before us. We were asked to wait in the bar and that we would be fetched. There was no hot food being served in the bar until after 6pm and we had to settle for tea and biscuits. We were not fetched and I had to go to reception again. We were then checked in but extra bed was not made up when we got to our room and staff attended to it while we were there (no major big deal but still). Secondly and rather strangely, the en suite was just a shower and toilet and the wash basin was in the bedroom itself. This was very inconvenient and awkward. The light over the sink came on when the en suite light was switched on so this disturbed the children if we were using the bathroom whilst they were asleep. I thought this was a strange arrangement, especially for a family room. We were there for just one night so we managed. Overall the premier inn is friendly and value for money but rather disappointing in these 2 aspects.

The location of the Hotel is perfect for shopping and all bars and clubs
The hotel is basic with no room service but for the money very good
The room was good but would be better if not near the lift due to the noise but other than that i found the room very clean and the staff very helpful

What more can I say? This is a Premier Inn so comfy beds and good standard rooms. The only niggles were that there was no where to hang a hand towel next to the hand basin and that the loo light was on the same switch as the light above the basin, which was in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. You have the choice of weeing in the dark or waking other occupants by putting on the light in the middle of the night!

Definitely not a 5* establishment or a personal B&B but for location and value you be hard to beat this hotel. Checkin staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were plenty enough spacious, very clean and comfy. There is 20 minute free wifi per day and then it is usual expensive access charges.

Tip - there is a small alley way behind the hotel (just before the front entrance) great for stopping the car for a few minutes while you get your bags into reception before you head off to park the car.

PROS; Great location to city centre (a 3min stroll)
Brilliant value for money
CONS; Hot breakfasts were quite ordinary and would opt for extensive continental option
next time
No onsite parking but can get for 10 pounds for 24 hours within close walking distance

We've just returned from a 3 day city break in Belfast and we chose this hotel because of it's central location and the array of decent bars and restaurants nearby. Like all Premier Inn's the rooms are of good standard and are spotlessly clean and the same can be said for the public areas of the hotel.

We opted to buy the buffet style breakfast and were not dissapointed by the wide selection of choices available. We didn't have dinner but the menu looked very nice and I'm assuming that this will be of a similar

A special mention too for the reception, bar and restaurant staff who were all extremely helpful and friendly which added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Room Tip: The city centre can be lively so if you're looking for piece and quiet then you may want to ask...

I stayed here in September for a stag night. it is really conveniently situated in the heart of Belfast and its only a skip and a hop to bars, clubs and nightlife etc. Rooms are what you expect from premier inn. cheap and comfortable. we didn't have breakfast or eat so cant comment on the food. Only downside was the check-in, it was extremely slow.
