“Great Central Hotel”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

Stayed at the Premier Inn Cathedral Quarter in Belfast for 2 nights when attending a wedding at the Merchant Hotel across the road.

The hotel was perfect and I have no complaints.

Location was great, close to shops, ferry and titanic experience. Everything was in walking distance and even if weather was bad taxis could be got from right outside the hotel and were reasonably priced.

The room itself was excellent, everything i needed from a hotel room and most importantly it was spotlessly clean. The bar and breakfast areas were modern and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times.

I would stay again.

Fantastic location for bars and restaurants! Easy, quick check in. Really comfy bed, and good spacious rooms. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant one evening on 2-course meal, and it was really good food.
Will definitely stay again.

We stayed for a 3 night break to see Riverdance at the Odyssey Arena. Lennys right, the beds are really comfy. Our room was in a sort of annex at the back (131) outlook on to an alley but on the plus side a very quiet location, apart from the last night due to a noisy neighbour. 5 mins walk to city centre and 15mins to Odyssey and Titanic. We had continental breakfasts which we thought was good value. Porridge, cereals, eggs, toast etc but the full breakfast looked good and you can eat as much as you want. Room was warm and clean with shower en suite. Had to check in online before our trip home but no printer on site, (receptionist not helpful) so had to go to another hotel to print off our boarding passes. Would definitely stay at a Premier again.

i have stayed in this hotel a few times and loved it very clean no noise and great staff but on this occassion was different i stayed just before christmas with a large group of people, our room was on a corner and there was ruby players staying in the hotel also, who thought it would be funny to knock on peoples doors at 4am, when i confronted them at our door they did apologise so i thought they just had got the wrong room, i was wrong they stood outside for 15 mins and talked banged on the door before they ran off.

i could hear them up and down the corridor and one hour later they banged the door again, i was going to get up and phone reception which i should have but i said if they came back again i would but thankfully that was it.

i did happen to mention this to the girl on reception and she said she will mention it to the manger who would probably be in conact but i didnt hear anything, i know its not there fault next time i will definatly complain as one of my party said they banged her door to

Room Tip: dont be put on a corner beside the doors

Good sized room, (shower only, no bath). On site restaurant serving varied menu, pizzas, steaks, lasagne, fish and chips etc for typically £8 to £12. No noticeable street noise. Full air con in room. Some great bars in the alleyways behind the hotel and main shopping area is five mins away. Taxi to/from George Best airport is around £7 or £8. Plenty of nearby cafés if you want other breakfast options. Noon checkout and secure left luggage facility is very useful. Would reccomend especially if you book in advance and get a good price.
