“Superb value for money”
Reviewed 15 August 2010

We booked in advance and got rooms for £29 per night (minimum 2 night stay required). Unbelievably good value.

The rooms were spotless and fairly well equipped- with freeview tv, free tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. Toiletries were basic (built in) but fine. Good easy to control shower, lovely and hot and quite powerful although bathroom was small.

Check-in had a slight delay while reception staff were checking what rooms were ready but the staff were so polite and friendly that a slight delay wan't an issue.

This hotel is in a great location for sight-seeing, shopping and nightlife. It can be noisy at night although local pubs and clubs shut at 1pm so there isn't all night noise. It didn't keep me awake but if you are a very light sleeper and plan on an early night, you would need to take this into consideration.

There are several local cafes nearby but we had the in-house continental breakfast on Sunday morning (when most other cafes aren't open) and were very pleasantly surprised - and again great value. Excellent choice of cereals - boxes of kellogs, weetabix, plus granola and add-ons (raisins, apricots etc etc), little muffins, croissants, toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, tea, coffee - as much as you want for £5.25.

All in all a great stay at unbeatable value.

I stayed here for 4 nights with 2 young children in May this year. We broke the journey and stayed in a 4*hotel on the way - this '4* hotel' did not even come close to comparing with this Premier Inn. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic; everything you could possibly want - even for fussy eaters! The rooms were basic, but spotlessly clean. It's really central and the reception staff are really nice. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative is that the car park is a 10 minute walk away (not pleasant when it's raining, dragging 2 children and 2 suitcases!!).

We recently stayed in The Premier Inn Waring Street for a weekend while we were celebrating a Hen weekend. The rooms are lovely - the showers brilliant and the bed so comfy! The attached bar is also lovely. The staff are really so nice and had absolutely no problems with a crowd of hyper girls running about in costume. Id like to say that the 2 boys that do the night reception are stars :)

we stayed 2 nights for my friend's wedding. This Premier Inn is really in the central of Belfast and surrounded by lots of bars.
The roooms were clean and the room service is always very quick.
Definately recommend this to any quick trip or a stop-by one day trip.

Just spent 2 night mid week break in Belfast wtih 2 kids (5 &3) and stayed in the Premier Inn Waring Street. It is a marvelous hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the location. It is within walking distance of all the shopping centres and some excellent pubs & restaurants. Secondly, the breakfast is one of the best i've had in a hotel. You do need to pay an extra £8 per adult (kids ate for free as we paid for 2 adult breakfasts) but it is excellent food. The bacon, potato breads are fabulous. Thirdly, the price. For a family of 4 we £150 for 2 nights B&B. For this price, you do get comfortable room, very friendly staff and a decent enough hotel bar to unwind at the end of the day.
On our last night, we ate in the restaurant and found it to be excellent and value for money.

The only negatives of the stay were: depending on which direction you come from, it can be confusing as to where the nearest multistorey car park is. Eventually found it - St Annes - nice new car park but dear at £18 per day. Parking on side street is free from 6pm til 8am but i did notice glass on the road from someone's side window being broken, so didnt chance it.
A big negative was upon returning from a day at W5 and then shopping, we were greeted to our room not being made up. When we went to reception, we were told that housekeeping at spoken to us and marked our room not to be touched. As we never spoke to anyone this was annoying but at least the receptionist did say she would speak to them about it. As we were leaving the next day, it did not mean much to us.
Finally, i did read a previous review which mentioned not being able to turn on light in the showerroom without turning on the light in the bedroom. I thought this was bizare until I realized it was true. Very odd wiring done there!

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn Waring Street and would definitely return and stay here again.

Fantastic hotel. service was first class. rooms spotless, location one of the best in belfast for a hotel, 5 mins from most key belfast transport links, shops bars etc. breakfast was £7.75 per person, which we thought was a little overpriced until we got down for it....it was fantastic, fresh, and loads to choose from and would def have it again when i return to this hotel...which i will without doubt! £29 per night!! total bargain!

During our recent trip to Belfast we stayed at the Premier Inn Waring Street where we have stayed several times before. Although the hotel has been opened for 18 months the standard has not dropped. Check-in was quick and staff were efficient but friendly. Our room was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed dinner on both nights of our stay and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Dining and bar staff were very good - efficient but friendly, helpful but not intrusive. So congratulations to all staff - reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant. You are doing a good job. Keep it up! And management - look after them!
