69% score is unjust for this hotel. Stayed here for the weekend while attending Arts Festival in Cathedral Quarter. This hotel is perfect for a busy city centre stay. Clean, nice room, very friendly staff. Great Bar, nice buffet breakfast and very good deal 2 nights 1 dinner. Close to everything. Only negative, maybe more toiletries in bathroom e.g. hair conditioner and body lotion. Staff were very attentive and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction.

My wife and I went for a three day city break to Belfast. I chose this hotel as it is very close to the city center and a 20 minute walk to Titanic Belfast. The hotel is very clean and modern. Check in was very quick and we were shown to the lifts. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor with views of Samson and Goliath at the Harland and Wolff ship yard.
The room was quite spacious and very clean. The bed we found to be a bit hard for us but non-the-less we both enjoyed a good nights sleep. The wet room shower was very nice. Other reviews suggest that it was prone to flooding. I can assure you we did not find this to be the case. Two lovely fluffy towels were supplied for each of us and the room was made up each day. Tea and Coffee facilities, large TV and Internet connection are also available. There is a charge for the internet after 30 minutes which in most hotels I would expect this to be free.
The bar area was a really nice place to have a drink and meet other guests. The hotel backs on to St. Annes square which is surrounded by several restaurants and Bistro's. It is lovely and clean and was, like the hotel built only a couple of years ago, we took our drinks from the bar and sat outside in the sunshine.
Breakfast was lovely with a choice of either full English or continental breakfast. Just help yourself, you won't need lunch! The hotel had a steak night. Steak, side order and a glass of wine for £15. This was excellent value and the meal was faultless. The next night we just had a Club sandwich in the bar, and that too was very filling.
The hotel is non smoking, and they will charge £100 if you smoke in your room.
All of the staff were friendly and cheerful and nothing was to much trouble for them. All in all a lovely clean, modern hotel within a few minutes walk of the City Center. We would certainly use this hotel again. Lovely!!

Booked to stay here Easter Sunday on booking.com
No email and an error message so assumed no reservation.
Tuesday morning got a cancellation message and on contact with booking.com and phoning the hotel directly no help even with a credit.
Pushed between the two companies and in the end I get shafted and nobody cares.
Shame and very poor customer service.

Dear paulm645

I am very sorry to hear about your issues with Booking.com, and I understand your frustration with them regarding the issues you experienced.

Our reservations department did speak to Booking.com and they informed the hotel that a confirmation was sent to your email and for that reason the booking was valid and following the terms & conditions your card was charged.

Despite all this I do understand your frustration and if you would like to speak to myself directly then please do not hesitate in contacting the hotel directly and asking for myself.

Lovely bright airy hotel not far from bars and restaurants. The bar in the hotel is nice to sit in and for a hotel the prices are not bad at all.The staff are very efficient and pleasant ,and everywhere very clean.
The rooms are basic but clean and all you need for one/ two night stay or more but only if you travel light as not much room for clothes etc.
Really nice little pubs very close The Dirty Onion, and The Duke of York worth a try, would deffo stay again and will be in August.

Room Tip: Have stayed twice before the last time was 5th floor first time was 3rd floor both were good

We recently stayed in this hotel for one night, got it on a £20 deal so it is really hard to complain!

But - if we had been paying full price it would have been not quite perfect!

When we arrived the first swipe card did not open the door, but in fairness the staff were very good and issued us with two new cards very quickly.

The room was decent in size and clean, really what you would expect from a budget hotel. The main light in the room did not work, however there was sufficient other sources of light that this was not an issue.

Great location in the Cathedral Quarter with lots going on near by! Staff generally very good

I don't think that I would rush back at full price, but I would certainly consider booking it again if the £20 offer was available.
