“Nice hotel but hard to find”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Enjoyed my one night stay. Room bright, airy and comfortable. Very clean and having a full and good breakfast included was great value. Parking is "seek and find"; free, but you have to search for a space that is open and not restricted by "ticket only" or yellow lines. Staff very helpful and friendly. I liked the modern feel and spacious room

Room Tip: Ask to be away from "talking lift"

stayed for 2 nights at The Ibis very central location. Average hotel room and a modular bathroom, comfortable and clean. First night was Saturday night our room faced hotels and a taxi -stand, very noisey we were unable to sleep until about 5am. In the morning I went to look for some coffee and I spoke to reception re. noise . Manager was called he arrived very pleasant man who offered us breakfast for both mornings. Reasonably priced as well.

Room Tip: check which side the hotels and taxi-stand are and avoid

Thank for for sharing your review of our hotel with tripadvisor. Overall I am glad to see that you found your stay a pleasant experience and that this overshadowed the noise from outside. I am also glad to see that this will not deter you from returning in the future.

Cheap and cheerful, but didn't feel comfortable staying here. We moved to a B&B after the first night. A quick overnight stay is OK but a few days just didn't feel comfortable.

Charge for parking across the street- again just don't feel comfortable.

The signal receptor within the building is very weak. I hardly got a phone signal here. I asked for a wifi voucher from the receptionist but they said they run out of voucher???

Hotel location and other services are perfect though. Near to shops, restaurants, and bars.

I've been staying at this hotel from Monday to Friday this past nine weeks while on business in Belfast. Each week is just as good - or better! As a regular the staff really look after me: I'm checked-in and checked-out very efficiently, if I need anything - like an iron and ironing board! - it's done in minutes. And all done with a smile - and often a chat! So I can only say a big "thank" you to Vikrant and his team - including Sean, Shona, Jeanette, Monika, Alanna - for always looking after me so well: I feel like one of the family!!

Room Tip: the upper floors provide great views!
