Use to be very good but Lost'a suol.We visited Former Carlitos now called 25 .The place was surprizingly strongly recommended from frıends .My mood went bad upon arriving at the place. The annoying thing was that we were in the restaurant We waited at least 20 minutes before anyone took our order and after the food had arrived it was up to our luck if any of the young waiters notice anything from our table.
The food was very poor in quantity and quality as well and above all extremely over priced..many of the stuff we tasted i am pretty sure came out a fridge of a supermarket.
It all made sense when i visited the bathroom and i noticed that their kitchen look like you were in a fast food joint and very dirty
Although the waiters seemed to have a nice time chating and yelling to each other, probably owner personally this situation is the opposite of what i was looking for in that place...use to be very Good restaurant,Good food and servis. There ıs a use to be very Good manager is well but when we asked staff he left.what a shame.we Will deffinetly not recommand this place anymore.awful food and service .very arrogant owner.

Great family friendly place to eat. We have had an evening meal and a great relaxing lunch. Food was great and very reasonably priced. Staff attentive without being intrusive.

After waiting 30 minutes on a starter ( only four in the restaurant) No apology received from the staff. The starter was ok, the staff did not check if our food was ok. The main course was poor and partially undercooked chips spoiled the meal. Expensive bill for a basic lunch, will definately try other Italian resturants in future. The menu needs to go back to the way it was before!

I recently was in this area of Belfast and decided to give Carlito's in Botanic a visit for an evening meal with my girlfriend.
The food was excellent, cooked to perfection. The vegetables that I ordered were delicious as was the chicken and potato side. My girlfriend was also very pleased with her meal!
Unlike some of the previous posts, the food was hot on arrival and incidentally, the restaurant was very busy at the time.
The service was also outstanding and very friendly. The manager asked a number of times if everything was ok.
Following the meal, the Manager asked how our food was and how the general experience was. He happened to mention that the chef was new and he himself was very pleased with the food quality and options.
It is a homely place to eat and the quality and service are excellent. The chef was also able to provide me with 'gluten free' options including sauces which many restaurants fail to do.
One recommendation would be to heat the plates more prior to serving. Otherwise excellent meals in comfortable surrounding.
We will be back in the near future.
P.S. The Restaurant may be rebranding under a different name but the Manager said same staff, same chefs and same quality food!
