Thank you so much for your feedback about the Lyric. Great to hear that you have been enjoying attending with us regularly. We very much appreciate that our repeat customers, who keep coming back and supporting the unique drama we present at the Lyric, are what keep us going, as well as the thousands of new customers and tourists who are discovering the theatre for the first time.

We are currently looking more into benefits and loyalty schemes to make sure we are rewarding customers who very kindly make a habit of coming down to the Lyric and checking out what we have to offer.

We hope to see you again soon.

“Philadelphia here i come - wait for me!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2014 via mobile

Went along to the lyric Sunday 9 February to see Brian Friel's "Philadelphia Here I Come". A terrific production. The set is marvellous showing the downstairs living area and upstairs bedroom. Performances were strong and heartfelt. Should Gar leave behind his splintered family, boring job and fair feathered friends and head off to America and the coca-cola, drive-through movies and refrigerators? We make a habit of going along a little early to enjoy a glass of wine in the atmospheric lounge bar \ cafe. We order interval drinks before the performance and these are waiting and ready every time. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. If you haven't been to the theatre for a while then give The Lyric a go - you won't regret it!

What a fantastic review, thank you for your comments. We are extremely proud of both productions that make up our Brian Friel Double Bill, and Philadelphia, Here I Come! has received a great critical response. It is a truly brilliant play, without a doubt, and a lot of customers and patrons have commented that the direction, performances and design behind this particular version makes it quite unique.

Our staff will be delighted to hear your comments about the service, and we do always recommend pre-ordering interval drinks!

Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon at the Lyric, perhaps at Molly Sweeney?!

“Cinderella”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2014

Took the family to see Cinderella at Christmas. We love the Lyric - we find the productions quite quirky, and this fitted the profile. Excellent performance - very funny - Cinderella told from the perspective of the rats. Seats are great - go for row H if you are bad on stairs. Nice ice cream at the break. Excellent day out.

Thanks so much for coming down! We really appreciate the comments!

You've picked up on something that is really important to us at the Lyric, especially with our Christmas productions, we like offer a really high quality production, often of a re-telling of a classic tale but with a twist. We've had a high volume of positive feedback about Cinderella and we're really please you caught it.

Credit must go to Mullan's for the ice - cream. We agree its great!

We hope to see you and the family at the Lyric again soon.

“Beatiful Modern Building”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 November 2013

An architectural marvel that lends gravitas to any production. The Lyric is well positioned by the Laganside while the interior of the building is well thought out and a conversation piece in itself. The performance spaces are well designed and acoustically good. Parking is a n issue though so leave the car at home. An under appreciated Belfast landmark

Thank you so much for your very generous feedback.

We feel greatly privileged to work in a building such as the Lyric. The facility was recently shortlisted for the Stirling prize, the greatest architectural prize the UK has to offer, and we think this was only just. The finish inside the building is one aspect that very often receives praise, and we especially receive a lot of comments from stakeholders regarding the attention to detail and how it continues all the way through the building. Even in the back stage areas, one part of theatre design which is often dedicated less time and effort, we're proud to say the finish is exquisite.

We're sorry to hear your comments about parking at the Lyric. Whilst we have no designated parking for the theatre, a plethora of spaces can often be found in the free public car park next to Stranmillis roundabout, especially during the evening. This is only a few minutes walk from the theatre entrance.

“Lovely Theatre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

This is a very nice ensue with two stages. We attended Brendan at Chelsea in November 2013 and had previously been to see The Importance of Being Earnest. Both were wrongful productions in a theatre with excellent acoustics, a generous stage and unrestricted viewing.

Thanks so much for your feedback.

We are very proud of our facility and even more proud to say that a seat in either of our performances will always offer a decent view. As the previous email suggests, we like to think that even those few seats which are marked as having a restriction are extremely good value for money.

We hope to see you again soon at the Lyric. You saw two great productions, so can't wait to hear what you think of your third trip!
