There is nothing fancy about this place or the menu and I suppose that if you go there with that in mind you wont be disappointed.
I visited with my parents, dad had a steak sandwich which he devoured (although he said the sauce made the bread soggy and would have preferred it on the side), mum had a chilli chicken salad (the menu was misleading on this one - we all thought it would be small, bitesized pieces of chicken but it was actually 6 goujons - she said it was fine but wouldn't order it again) and I had a Panini with sweet chilli chicken, peppers and onions which was fine.
However, I was disappointed with the lack of 'healthy' side orders available - I know that they wouldn't necessarily fit with the American theme but everyone is watching their figures these days and I think they would do well to offer baked potatoes, noodles, boiled rice, corn on the cob, etc as side orders. I am quite a healthy eater and the only non-fried option available to me was a side salad - my meal already came with a garnish of side salad so I ended up with a plateful of lettuce as my side order which was not very appetising!
Unless I hear that they have revamped the menu to be more healthy-eater-friendly, I won't rush back.
