Owner description: Experience Belfast provides you with the best overview of Belfast you will find. Originally a walking tour which could best be described as street theatre, it's a theatrical experience available as a Day Tour, Walking Tour or Coach Tour. We provide brilliant tours for individuals and groups and we also arrange workshops with writers, politicians and journalists. We consistently receive excellent reviews on Trip Advisor for a reason, this is one of the best tours you'll ever do. If you want something that's informed, intelligent, good fun and craic, we're right up your street.

I was born and bred in Belfast but came back on a visit after 37 years and this tour with our guide Arthur uncovered places I did not realise existed. We discovered that the original site of Belfast Castle actually stood on the site of BHS and there are alleyways which have pubs which are hidden gems and murals depicting the colourful famous musicians and actors which Belfast has bred!!!

Arthur was so informative and put all that he told us into context and in such a humorous way

If you are looking for a traditional "sightseeing" tour then this maybe isn't for you. There are plenty of generic companies out there who will charge you over the odds to regurgitate facts and statistics to you. Experience Belfast will take your hand and lead you off the beaten path to points of interest and things that seem completely irrelevant to most tourists. For example, has a hotel ever had any more significance than in Belfast?

Arthur was our guide and in the two and a half hours that we spent with him, we felt like we began to appreciate what it was really like to grow up in Northern Ireland. In contrast to other walking tours we have taken, this was a very personal tour filled with lots of stories and opinions.

I had a wonderful tour with Arther about 2,5 hours.

In opposite to the normal tours in Belfast, he shows you the modern and alternative aspects of this great city. He will show you interesting places and spots you would never find yourself. Besides he is from this city and has a lot of knowledge and interesting stories.

He speaks clear and fluently and has lot of funny stories. Despite of being German I was able to understand him without a problem.

This walking tour is completely worth to do and a good contrast to the tours of the past. It will show you how the city has changed over the years and how the life is today (apart the troubles).

I recommend this tour without a doubt!!!

The tour is superb. A walking tour of Belfast with 'Undertones' of trouble, religion, freemasons, and most importantly change. Arthur is a fantastic orator, insightful and a genuinely really nice guy. It would be a shame if this tour stopped. We did the full day tour: 2.5hours walking tour around the centre, lunch in a really good local pub, and then a black cab taxi tour of the murals. I thoroughly reccomend this tour

When people think about Belfast and Northern Ireland, the conflict between catholics and protestants comes to their minds Have you ever thought there is more to Belfast than walls?

Once you scratch the surface, it is easy to see beyond the conflict of past years and Arthur gives you a new vision full of history, details and vibrant music. This almost three hour tour takes you from Gulliver to the Undertones (reverence) It's a pleasure walking through Belfast with a man who speaks about the city with love and passion, that kind of love of the ones who had to leave his hometown to realize how much they love it.

I strongly recommend this tour for those who want to know Belfast a little bit deeper, Arthur is a great guide and provides you a memorable way to learn about the city
