Very close to the center, is one of my safe harbor when in Belfast.
Let me be honest, is nothing outstanding, is an Hilton and looks as most of the other Hiltons worldwide.
The rooms are big, very nice bathroom, never cold in the winter and never warm in the summer. Air conditioning is quiet and can be managed easily from the room.
Breakfast is good, variegated, fresh fruit, fresh yogurt with granola and good orange juice.
On the VERY BAD NOTE, if you are not at least a Gold Member you have to pay the WiFi. Seriously? In 2014?
This is the only reason why I'm looking and going to other hotels when in Belfast.

We stayed recently at the Belfast Hilton and I can honestly say that it was a most enjoyable experience. The young lady that took my booking was very helpful and I ended up booking an executive room that gives access to the executive lounge, a very worthwhile choice. On arrival the reception staff were prompt, efficient and very friendly, in fact 1 of the ladies new folk from our neck of the woods, and so we immediately felt at home. The room was grand, well laid out with a good range of accessories and a terrific view of Belfast . 1 small gripe, my partner loves a bath and there wasn't 1, however, the shower area was large and perfectly good. We ate out at a couple of very fine restaurants, so I can't comment on the restaurant . We did make use of the lounge bar for a couple of soft drinks and the barman was very pleasant and helpful, the lounge itself was very nice. After we had eaten, we decided to try the executive lounge, it was chock full of folk but we did manage to get a seat. Really enjoyed it, the cheese and biscuits were delicious and there was a great range of canapés available and the range of complimentary drinks was very good. What made the evening there was the young lady (Sagitta, I think was her name) who although constantly on the go, found time to have a chat with us, lovely girl and we wish her well with her future. Breakfast was very tasty, a very good range of choice for all tastes, we had the cooked breakfast and it was grand. All in all, I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: Ask for an executive suite.

As a Diamond member for many years and having earned several million points over the years i have stayed in Hiltons all over the world. At belfast tonight i was told that the lounge has stopped serving spirits and only offers beer and wine.So whilst if you want to avail of the canapes and have a G & T its no longer possible. i had to go down to the bar and buy one.
This is a huge backward step and such a shame as the staff here are superb, as is the hotel.

If the hilton want to go down market then fine but if i have to buy my G & T i might as well stay at a Premier Inn in future and save money.

This is a penny pinching management decision which will not go down well with loyal guests.

Time for a brand change after spending many thousands of pounds with the Hilton Group

We had never been to Northern Ireland, went for a family wedding. Began our trip at the Hilton Belfast. I would like to call out in particular the Concierge staff, Tony and John. They contacted me by e-mail ten days before we arrived and offered assistance. At my request, they arranged a rental car for us, provided options on transportation to Larne Harbour, gave excellent restaurant suggestions and made reservations for us. The desk and concierge teams virtually eliminated any stress of being in unexplored territory. Walking distance to the Central train station, Titanic museum, Central Belfast market. One-stop train ride from the Belfast Museum.

Room Tip: Only stayed in one room, which was very quiet in spite of facing the train line.

First rate staff and service. Room was spotless, very friendly and great location. Only downside was air conditioning in room was broken, which I am sure would have been fixed if requested. Excellent views of the city.

A fawlty towers of broken bits, being kept together by an exemplary crew.
Though some of the staff seem to judge the guests!
And don't ask for the Doorman, he's probably watching the golf in the bar.
An underwhelming experience never to be repeated .

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. It's a typical large hotel. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not nearly a good as the Doubletree in Dublin.

The desk staff were adequate, not overly helpful or attentive. The service is the hotel café was sporadic, selection very limited and every quite expensive.

WiFi is not free unless you sit in the lobby which provided seating the is very uncomfortable. You can also access the WiFi from the Café/Bar which seems to be what is being encouraged by the lack of comfortable lobby seating.

Charges of the best part of 10 GBP per day is outrageous and continues to be my biggest pet peeve when it comes to higher end hotels. The cheap and cheerful one general provide free access everywhere including your rooms, so what's the problem with these large world wide hoteliers. It strikes me simply as a money grab.

The hotels rooms and facilities for breakfast were fine.

The bed in my room was one of the very best I have slept on. I also find that a lot of hotels have gone to the comforter without sheet in between which I affects a good nights rest. You can usually be very warm without any option other than cranking up the air conditioner to remedy the situation, It would seem more practical to have a sheet and lower air conditioning costs than what is now required to get a cool enough room to be able to cover up with the comforters provided.

Breakfast buffet at this hotel was very nice, They provided poached and scrambled eggs with their full Irish breakfast options. The serving staff generally were attentive, unfortunately the young woman serving in the area I was seated in one morning was much more focused on a discussion with what appeared to be a friend rather than serving the other customers. Credit to the restaurant manager for taking the time to intervene and try to get her back on track with what she was supposed to be doing. It did take some effort on his part.

The concierge at this hotel was not very helpful. His manner was quite off hand and left the impression that he really wasn't interested in helping with advice on hotel bookings, travel arrangements, taxi ordering, etc. The older fellow that worked on the weekend was much, much better and certainly more interested and helpful with everything.

The hotel location was excellent to many restaurants, central Belfast shopping, site seeing/points of interest and as such would make a good place to stay while in Belfast.

My overall impression from the staff was that they weren't interested in serving or may simply needed to have more staff than was on hand.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent stay with us.

Unfortunately however, you were not entirely satisfied with your overall experience, and I am particularly disappointed to read that the hotel lacked friendliness.

I must admit that friendliness is one of the main areas which we are complimented on, never-the-less, I am sorry that on this occasion you felt otherwise.

Although you have also mentioned various positive issues of your stay, I will share all of your feedback with the relevant departments within the hotel.

Thank you for expressing such positive comments with regard to your recent stay at Hilton Belfast.

Kind Regards,

Ciarán
