“Relaxing stay with 1st class service”
Reviewed 18 December 2011

We stayed on a Friday night on a shopping deal booked on the hotels own website which was good value. Service was great and we were in a quiet comfortable room on the 8th floor. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff there were very attentive despite it being very busy. Will Definitely return!

Room Tip: Room on an upper floor

We attended the Europa Party night and stayed overnight. The food was very good the entertainment was suitable for the mixed age group that are party where. We had a really good evening and then slipped upstairs to beautiful comfortable rooms. The next morning we had a relaxing breakfast which finished of a fantastic stay. I would recommend an overnight or weekend stay for anyone visiting Belfast from near or far.

Room Tip: The corner suites are a bit larger than normal. The executive suites a good bit bigger we had a rang...

My past visits to Belfast were all work-related (and most were at the height of 'the troubles'), and so I saw very little of the City. Going there for enjoyment was an eye opener. Examples of the City's mercantile, engineering and port past are still very much in evidence - a fact that greatly adds to the pleasure that I get from urban landscapes. We chose the Europa primarily because of its location - right next to the Grand Opera House, a magnificent theatre designed by Frank Matcham - but also because of its own part in the recent history of Belfast. We were not disappointed. Our room was outstanding; the service was of a high quality. The rubber duck from the bathroom now adorns mine! Both city and hotel are definitely worth a return visit.

Room Tip: We were on the front of the hotel and were not disturbed by noise, either from traffic or from revel...

I don’t usually write reviews so bear with me, I stayed at the Europa recently with my mum for a wee break the plan of action was shopping but we actually had a pretty relaxed time and got to see the Christmas markets, so enough about me back to the Europa, the Hotel is just lovely, the bedroom was really big (a bit surprised about that) with all the extras, teabags and all, and yep in agreement with the other reviews the power shower was just great think I got a massage will I was in there. The Breakfasts were actually nearly to good we could have sat there all morning we were up and down trying that much we probably burned off all the calories we were eating. We'll definitely be back, oh yea the Hotel is so Central to the Centre of it all, you can't get closer than that. But the real reason I'm writting this is because of the staff, they were just great to us and so friendly and attentive but at the same time left you to it (now thats almost impossible). I just want to especially thank Andy the floor manager on the front desk, I had a bit of trouble with my Visa but Andy was so helpful and sorted it out for me I really appreciate all his help & time he just made the frosting on the Carrot Cake of our stay, there's no topping that. Thanks again Andy.

Stayed for just one night when visiting Belfast and the Christmas market. The Europa was fantastic, centrally located and from walking through the door, to leaving, everything was perfect. Great rooms - spacious, well decorated and a great power shower - more like a pressure washer! Yummy cooked breakfast, especially as we needed the grease to soak up the alcohol from the night before - cocktails in the bar were divine, would definitely recommend the French Martini, Lynchberg Lemonade and the Speak Easy...yeah, we were in there for a while with good reason. Special thanks to Martin from Concierge for looking after us =).
Will be back!

My wife and I stayed in the hotel on Wednesday the 7th for one evening. We were greeted at reception by a very friendy receptionist who explained everything about our stay. Our room was extremely well laid out, clean and with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Unsuite had both power shower and bath, and also perfect. We visited the Piano Lounge for cocktails and the choice was made easy by an extremely friendly and knowledgable bar man. Breakfast the next morning was self service, well laid out and easy to find whatever and as much of what you wanted. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Car parking costs £16 per night but is sercure and dropping off and picking up the vehicle was taken care of by the hotel.

Room Tip: We ate in the Crown Bar resturant acroos the road from the Europa The food was excellent and represe...
