I stayed with with my wife and friends at the Europa on Saturday 26th May for one night. It was a night away from the kids and a chance to have a good meal and a few drinks. Service at Check In was great but was downhill from there. The room was tiny, I mean it was even small compared to New ork hotel rooms. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. Toiletries in the room were non existent. My wife called down for some shampoo and conditioner but ended up going to the shop across the street when there was no sign 30 mins later. Our friends called for more towels and similarly no towels arrived.
The piano bar on the first floor is a great chill out area and cocktails are good. The service here was very friendly too. The lobby bar was not great, and the live band that were on we're about the worst I've come across.
Breakfast was good but food was not replenished very frequently meaning things ran out quite quick.
Overall, there are far better Belfast Hotels, but if you get a bargain here and just want to put your head down for a night, it's grand.More
